Oasis - Noise & Confusion Interview - 13th October 2001
In 2001 Oasis played 6 shows as part of '10 Years of Noise And Confusion' Tour. Their show at the legendary Glasgow Barrowlands venue. The show went out on TRF & VH1 but also went out on Sky Box Office Pay Per View without Advert Breaks. However an interview was also shown. Here is the full interview.

Love coming back to watch this. So happy that they’re back together.
I went to the apollo theatre gig in manchester for 10 years of noise and cinfusion tour and it was my first oasis and I've seen them a few times over the years but it will always be my best oasis gig. I was near the front and got to see the band up close and it was a fucking brilliant gig😅😊

noel just wont let liam talk ! liam let him lead the interview anyway but the few times he interjected noel looked so annoyed and offended which i feel created this sort of tension throughout the interview. he was the one talking the most in this so he couldve just let it slide.. 37:08 was kinda frustrating to watch tbh😅noel seems like a difficult and controlling personality which i think provokes liam into having this rebellious attitude towards him. i loved seeing their reactions to their old interviews tho. liam called it a punishment i get the vibe he lowkey was embarrassed 🤭cute

yes they were that’s when the band formed.

Interview is so interesting on their dynamic as people like for example when they are looking back on the interview they are like loving brothers but then you see around the 11:00 minute mark when they start talking over each other you can almost see them getting annoyed at each other.
I think theyre more annoyed at the Beatles question.....

Great interview, it’s rare seeing them together like this. I will say it was frustrating at times watching them interrupt one another and not listening to each other. Every interruption is taken so personally and they dont respect one another. Seems pretty immature.
Funny about the concert with Neil Young. Noel speaks very highly of Neil Young now (2023 and earlier). Love the full-on eyebrows, full-on cocaine, full-on Manc. Liam's voice at 11:55 is soooooo good. He's a beautiful man. I f--king love Oasis. *sniff* *sniff* *sniff* *sniff*

I remember staying up at my Grandma's house to watch this and being so confused 😂 Liam furious and cutting off his vocals, Noel looking miserable 😣 it all made sense when they broke up 😂
Obviously this is great but any Oasis fan would have liked Liam there singing as well so Noel didn't have to strain so much.
Just imagine how cool this would be.

You can see the tension. He's almost completely ignoring the music in champagne supernova. They don't look like a band that's working together. His voice lacks power. It's incredible how he's managed to improve so much again. How good would they be together now.
Just for some context: He's so angry because he had a pint thrown at his during the first song. It's not because they were about to break up. Hope this helps.

@@george_karamperis7 What you're doing here is spreading misinformation. I'm forever reading comments saying "this is so sad. You can see in Liam's eyes that oasis are splitting up". He was hit with a pint of beer, or perhaps piss which you can hear in the audio version of the gig during the first song. Don't "Nope, never, no" when in fact you don't know. Liam had absolutely no idea they were splitting up. I don't know if you're familiar with Liam Gallagher's intelligence but he's not that bright.

The basis of oasis splitting up is that Noel wanted to charge Liam money for advertising his clothing line in the tour programme. Seriously.

I know that some people are pointing out the faults in the audience for looking bored, but I would too. There’s just not a lot of heart in their performance, just anger and it looks like sadness in Noel. Plus there were plenty of bands out in 09 that were much better than Oasis at that time.
