Video is of the hail that shortly followed the giant EF-4 TORNADO that ripped through Henryville, Indiana. My roommates truck is parked out in front of our house, and gets beat all to hell.

I shot this video of the EF-4 tornado that blasted through Henryville, Indiana on March 2, 2012. I shot it out the back door of my house that is approximately a quarter of a mile away from the twister itself..video clearly shows multiple vortices. Please comment and tell me what you think. 12 years ago, yikes. I just came across this after watching some tornado footage videos and this honestly makes you realize how fast tornados can be and is quite alarming. I'd hate to go through a tornado, but that's somewhat unlikely depicting where I am. Great video, though! 👍
Terrible, such a huge tornado passing so close to one's home. Hope no one was seriously injured in this powerful storm.

This was going on when I was 2 I am 13 now and still live in henryville and I have always wanted to see a tornado in person but I missed my chance that time because my grandparents didn’t let me go outside to see it
I can't believe I saw this tornado with my own eyes. Only tornado I've ever seen and probably will ever see.
I like 28 sec in u can see more then 1 vortices so incredibley disturbing but yet so mesmerizing.

Listen to that sucker roar! Reminds me of the Katie-wynwood Oklahoma tornado which had the most intense rotation I’ve seen in recent history plus both were high end f-4 killers

Check out Clem Shultz in Rochelle-fairdale super tornado of 2015 by far the scariest video of a tornado ever filmed period it was just as strong as this one much bigger and slower moving wiped out 1/3 of fairdale nothing left but concrete foundations and some of them were cracked and dislodged!
How do I know this? I live only a few miles away from that event and saw it happen something you never forget!
After watching this several times I’m convinced in this video that this is a f-5 tornado no doubt the motion is insane the roar is unreal and the speed it’s moving and all those subs ripping everywhere I’ve seen other videos of this event but none like this video great work!

Reminds me of the Andover tornado right after it hit the air force base and began transitioning into its wedge-esque configuration. Would love to see somebody clean this video up. Stabilize it, fill in the spots where the video briefly chokes, that sort of thing.

That tornado was extremely violent! I’ve seen enough tornado videos to know that when a tornado has strong upward motion like that it means that it’s very dangerous and violent.
a piece of metal, picked up by a tornado and thrown at 70 mph can cut you in half.......keep filming tornados that close to you and you won't survive....when you hear it, you're too close,....
