Born and raised in Philly, was glad to see Wawa for PA. Now living in Worcester County, MD and surprised to see Chick-fil-A. I thought it would be Royal Farms.

As someone who has lived in California since 1968...I have a LOT of problems believing that Taco Bell is more popular than In-N-Out. All you need to do is drive anywhere near an In-N-Out to think that claim is B.S.

I’ve been in Colorado all my life (Denver and Colorado Springs) and never even heard of Culver’s. I would say Chipotle is probably the most popular fast food place here. Also, In-n-Out is based out of California and their most popular fast food is Taco Bell. That’s just sad.

Steak 'n' Shake isn't as good as what it used to be. Aside from that, it got hit hard in the fallout of the pandemic.

Again Starbuck. is not a fast food restaurant. It’s a coffeehouse chain. And this is a fast food category. The frappe is not a milk shake drink . You either do a legitimate fast food category that represents the iconic burger and fries , not a pizza joint or a coffee house that’s is mere a hype that’s based on orchestrating a bunch of misconception of what Starbucks is when it’s not a fast food restaurant.

Funny thing: I live in Kentucky, and KFC is not very popular here. I would say the most popular fast food restaurant is probably Raising Caines.

I live in Illinois and have been to Portillo's only once and have eaten their food only twice. I would have picked McDonald's.

It is rather alarming how most of these breakfast food is dessert and not actually food worthy or nutritional value for breakfast.

They should have kept in n out only in CA, now all these runt states have it.

I live in southern Illinois, and I've never heard of Portillo's.

In SE Pennsylvania (Philadelphia) Wawa is the most popular place for a quick bite. Location, location, location. They're always busy and you can get a fresh, custom hoagie. You create it on the kiosk and they make it for you in a few minutes. We are lucky for that.

There again you people limit Illinois to the Chicago area. Downstate there weren't ANY Portillos until a few years ago and to my knowledge there are only three or four now. Meanwhile we have McDonalds, Wendy's, A&W, Hardees, Chik-fil-A, Popeyes, Steak n Shake, White Castle, Culvers, Sonic, Jack in the Box, KFC, Huddle House, Waffle House. Personally, I have tried Portillo's on two occasions and there are better hot dogs in Chicago and Illinois for that matter.

Ohio skyline chili? Lived in Ohio All my life, never heard of it! WHY not cook at home? HMMM! Haven't been to fast food for 20 years, and dont miss it! I've found i can make better meals at home, and can last More than one meal, , the thrill of cooking, the smell, the taste,there is a whole world out there to make .i love All types of food, savor every bite, absorb All the flavors.

In PA, you could start a lively argument over Wawa and Sheetz. And now, Rutter's is starting to make inroads. As for conventional fast food, McD's and Subway are still easy to find here.

I’m from Ohio and I guarantee you other than the Cincinnati area Skyline Chili is pretty much non existent
