    Mandarin Chinese is designed to be learned backward you first learn the so called pictograph which is easy follow by ideograph last is the phonetic and is a dialect not a language

    You’re amazing! Your pronunciation is great! 😄 I grew up in China and later went to Australia for studies, so I really understand how difficult it can be to learn a new language-vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation all feel like challenges. 😅 That’s why I really admire you. I’m a TH-cam beginner, and I share some Chinese learning resources on my channel. (I just started updating, so the content may not be much yet, but I’ll keep working hard! 💪) I hope I can help you! 📚😊 Feel free to ask me any questions about China too! 🇨🇳 By the way, can you teach me English? 😅

    Thailand condos are far more luxurious and around the same price I was considering China to relocate because of the bridges and the buildings. And how everything is lit up at night. But when I saw Bangkok it actually blew my mind. How loves you? The apartments are. They are very small but the amenities of the rest of the building. More than makes up for it it is extremely plush those condos in thailand

    I'm really curious how easy you found it at first? I ask this because SO FAR (working through Paul Noble's two Chinese courses.- def only beginner level) I'm legit finding it reasonable.

  • @FrankCastleTIG
    @FrankCastleTIG หลายเดือนก่อน

    First, love your content- please keep making more. Curious re: Chinese being difficult... I've worked through both of Paul Noble's courses so far. Obviously still beginner level, but as of right now I've picked everything up easily and have no problem remembering things - even the tones. Does it start getting more difficult, or is this a good sign? haha I don't want to jinx myself, but I swear I've found it easier than European languages in school. I'm sure a lot of that is motivation, though!

    • @David_Liu93
      @David_Liu93 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I lived in China and learned Chinese as well. And you are right, mandarin seems easy on the beginner level. The grammar is way easier to grasp than any other languages I learned, the basic characters and super easy to remember, especially because of the way they are formed. Like the actually look like what they represent. But when you learn another couple of hundreds then the old ones get blurry and they start to mix in your head. And when you progress in your Chinese you start to realize that the more you learn the less you actually understand and remember. And you vividly see that your textbook Chinese is absolutely not how the natives really speak. Their speed, accents, word choices can be super challenging even on the more advanced level. But I don't want to discourage you - learning the language in China is very rewarding, the locals love it when you use their language, they will always praise your Chinese no matter how good or bad it would be. Just try to practice with the native speakers as much as you can and you can get to a great level. Good luck on your Chinese learning journey

    Hi there, I like your channel and appreciate your honesty about learning Chinese. I am a professional Chinese teacher in U.S. I think that your tips are very helpful for language learners. I recommend Peppa Pig shows to my students too. 100% agree with your immersion style of language learning. As for learning Chinese characters, I humbly think that the most effective way would be learning them from the most common ones to the least common. With the top 140 most commonly used characters, you can recognize about 50% the characters in daily readings! After having learned the top 3,000 characters, you can read more than 99% of the characters. And, another effective way to learn Chinese characters is learning by the radicals (偏旁部首). This way, they are easier to understand and remember. For example, if you use the radical 女(meaning “woman”), you can easily learn many of the characters with this radical: 妈 (using the meaning of 女 and the sound of “马”). Similar examples are: 姐、妹、姑、娘、嫂、婶,etc. They are just my humble suggestions for Chinese language learners. Hope they help. Thank you for your great videos! May DeLosh
