RAW PAPAYA JAM
EASY RECIPE RAW PAPAYA JAM
RAW PAPAYA JAM
Raw Papaya 1 kg
Jaggery/Brown Sugar 1 cup
Apple 1 Large
(Granny Smith or any Tart variety)
Beetroot 1 medium
Lime Juice /Citric Acid 1 tbsp
Cut papaya and beetroot into large chunks. Add to a pan. Fill water in the pressure cooker and keep a stand and then keep the pan containing papaya and beetroot on the stand.Pressure cook for one whistle.
Open the lid, let it cool. Then add to a blender jar along with roughly chopped apple pieces. Blend everything together to a smooth paste.
Pour the mixture into a heavy bottomed pan and keep the pan on low medium flame. Continue to stir and cook. Add jaggery and cook. Add some grated beetroot if you like to have some texture in the jam.
Add citric acid or lime juice.
Deep freeze a plate and then spread a dollop of jam on the plate. Rotate the plate and check if the jam appears to have set. If yes then the jam is ready. If it appears runny, cook for some more time.
Fill in a glass jar while it is still hot. Refrigerate for a longer shelf life (upto 3 weeks).

Please find below. I have now added it to the description as well. BEST OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES Flax Meal 1 tbsp Coconut Oil or Ghee ½ Cup Jaggery ¾ cup Oatmeal 1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour 1 Cup Baking Soda 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder 1 tsp Salt ¼ tsp Raisins ½ cup Instructions 1-Mix Flax meal with ¼ cup of lukewarm water. Set aside till it forms a gel (about 10 minutes) 2. Beat Ghee and jaggery till well incorporated. 3-Add the flax Gel. 4-Add Oatmeal, whole wheat flour, Cinnamon, Baking Soda and Salt. 5-Mix everything together. 6-Add raisins and knead the dough until it comes together. 7-Make about 16 cookies. 8-Bake in a preheated oven (180°C/350°F) for about 17 minutes. 9-Take out and allow to cool on a wire rack. 10-The cookie may appear soft once out of the oven. Is jaggery r sugar compulsory r we can skip this? What is the reason of adding jaggery in saltish dhokla I dont like sweet dhokla.

RECIPE CARD Mix below spices and keep aside. Remove skin from the tomatoes and make a fine puree. Add to a pan. Add the spices and cook for 5 minutes. Boil 2 tbsp of Tur Dal, mash and add to the mix. Add 2 cups of water and simmer for 5 minutes. Add 1 tbsp of jaggery. Turn off the flame and add 3 tbsp lime juice. Sprinkle coriander leaves. Pour the tempering. For the tempering, heat 1 tsp of ghee, then add ¼ tsp mustard seeds, asafoetida, black pepper, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
If I want healthy pasta why include tapioca flour? Just 100 grams red lentil flour ( I used the coffee grinder to made the flour) plus 1 egg and one tablespoon olive oil

Sesame..2 cups Honey...half cup Almond/coconut flour 1 cup Milk powder ...1cup Salt...1/4tsp Rose water ..2 tsp Vanilla extract 2 tsp Pistachio...half cup Refrigerate for 2 hours Then cut into slices.

Thanks for reaching out. You may try changing milk powder to any nut powder like cashew, almond, peanut, sesame or coconut. Though I have not personally tried it.
