Cincinnati Game Preview
The Bearcats started the season in the Top 25
They are a talented team but have struggled this season
Come into this matchup at 2-4 in the Big 12 and 12-5 overall
Their losses in the Big 12 are at KSU, vs. Arizona, at Baylor, and vs. Kansas (where they scored 40 points)
They are on a 2 game-winning streak in the conference with wins vs. Colorado and Arizona State
They are led in scoring by Simas Lukosius (Lu-Ko-Sis) at 12.4 ppg. He is their best shooter shooting 37.4% from 3
Dillion Mitchell (the UT transfer) is the bearcats leading rebounder at 6.8 rpg and is also a defender that can ground 1-4
Aziz Bandaogo is the big to know as he is good in the P&R and a legit 7 foot. He won’t shoot from the outside, but his size makes a difference down low
Overall, the Bearcats shot 45.2% from the field (10th in the Big 12), 32.8% from 3 (13th in the Big 12), 37.6 RPG (T-7th in the Big 12), 14.5 apg (11th in the Big 12), but they don’t turn the ball over at all 2nd in the Big 12 in fewest per game.
