Me and my son met up with some friends to rip the lines. This was our 1st day testing the Sena spider ST1 communicators. We loved them, 3 of us are linked up on the ride. Fun day.

Yamaha IT 200 and Honda XR250 Trail Rip (found a shack in the woods!)
มุมมอง 2.9K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
Me and a buddy went on a weekend ride to search for some new riding spots. We ran across the old shack which I haven't seen but heard of before. It was a great day, beat the rain, and came back in one piece! The IT200 has been a lot of fun in the woods. Enjoy the clips.

How long have you had that quad for? I just got one and had some questions seems like there is not a lot of information on the Kasea
that poor bike YOU COULD HAVE BROKE IT!
@@TheSnowWolf1000 yep but it's still running trails every weekend. My son really likes it. I needed a few things after that stupid loop out, but it's pretty mint now. I did even more work after that crash. Most importantly suspension front and rear.
@@peteschannel508 im just playing obviously you are more important than the bike. plus its lasted this long i doubt you hurt it. hope you're ok.
🆒 video, got the same XTM mammoth 🦣 ST came with the proline chevy 2️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ crew cab body, axial beadlocks 3️⃣.8️⃣ rims & proline BIG JOE 4️⃣0️⃣ series tires 🛞 🤑👍🏼🏁
@@compasRCnitro sounds nice, I always liked mine, just got it shifting and ripping. I will post some clips soon.
The guy on the green bike can't ride very good
@@GermyBallswell hahaha , I know that was a great day of riding in awesome weather. KDX runs great!
where can i find aluminum diff case covers like u have?
i need that tank too lmfao!
@@PopesterRc I got them years ago online. I'm sure you can track some down. They have held up for years
@@PopesterRc yes that is another item I got years ago but I think you may be able to still find one. I think I got that from XTM or it was global hobby at the time? It's been so long I forget.
@@peteschannel508 i found a tank, 290cc, i cant find a trace of those diff case covers o well, at least i found a tank haha
@@PopesterRc badass on the tank. Yes you will love it even my buddy back in the day that had way better nitros than me was so jealous of the amount of fuel it held. It is a big tank for sure. I'll see if I see those diff covers anywhere and let you know.
some people? nah just me haha! if ur looking for any parts let me know! i have a roller of parts , i would love to help out if needed!
@@PopesterRc haha, yep you were the most recent post, and you got my excited to put mine together. I have had new parts for years but if I need anything I can't find I'll hit you up. Thanks keep them nitros going
Get it
Brigs back good memories. I had a IT175 back in 1983 that I bought as a leftover for $1400. Regret selling it to this day. Now they are going for ridiculous money. 🙄
@@MikeConcordia I could have gotten a 175 shortly after I bought my 200 for free, but it needed a lot of work and I wasn't up to it. If I could go back I would have taken it no doubt. I did a lot of work over time to mine. They are great bikes
Now you have something to do
@@markdelichte5401 haha, yep it's been repaired. But yes I destroyed that thing for a bit.
I know Reese loves that thing😂
@@Gorillataguyyy Yes it has some pull for sure. It's the neighbors and he was letting us try it out that day. 😁
Cool, nice little setup you got there!
@@andycardwell7797 it's perfect for the daily rip !
What exhaust is that
This is a Hetrick Racing full exhaust. It's really nice with the 70 kit, clutch and cvt work.
Awesome video
@@Gorillataguyyy thanks!
Wow
Central Newfoundland is enduro bike heaven. Would have a ton of fun with that IT.
Let's ride
Sasquatch
Haha
No roads....Iove it.
Awesome country for riding man..haha
MX bikes suck in woods so did honda xr's
I road like this on '85 kdx 200. Best offroad bike ever.
Rip through the woods....awesome.
Or no trail
I love this. Looks like places I rode. Tight trails.
@@AndrewC.McPherson-xf5zw thanks for the comments. Yes this bike is my baby, I've had over 20yrs and put money into it over time. It is a great trail and woods bike. I'm in Maryland, there's some decent riding around here but I feel there are better places to ride, I just work with what's available locally .
Find a place to haul 3rd gear wheelies.
Rather ride the Yamaha.
damn! it looked like you landed OK, howd you get your shoulder?
@@bluestripes1 I am not 100% sure, I flipped in the air when I dug my heals in the ground and I think I hit on my left arm/shoulder when I came back down. It sucked, my high speed wheelies are definitely on hold. That was a pretty stupid accident, and I was mad at myself. We just got done riding like 20 miles in woods and I did that on the way back 2 miles from the truck. Lesson learned, me and the bike are back in shape now.
@@peteschannel508 glad to hear it I want to get an it200 they seem great
@@bluestripes1 I have a 01 cr250 and still love my IT200. Super comfy and just the right amount of power.
Tenho um só que é brusheless, derrepente a direção ficou toda para esquerda ao bunda o RC, terias alguma dica?
@@gezercorrea2980 I would check the servo saver and the linkage to make sure there is no binding. That's my best guess without seeing it.
Where did you get your digital speedometer from?
@@KelbyCheatwood I found it on Amazon , Eling digital gps. I believe it was the 52mm size and it fits right in there. I mounted the transponder in the hood for good reception. I bought a black one. Sponsored Visit the Store, ELING ELING Visit the Store 4.4 343 ELING Warranted Digital GPS Speedometer Odometer Kit for Car Boat Motorcycle with Red Backlight 2'' 52mm 12V 24V
At least that's as close to what I remember. It's been some time since I messed with the GPS. It works well and you can just install and be worry free. I took the gamble and it worked great. Even plugged up to battery in my truck to Rd test and it's accurate. Hope this helps you out.
Nice run
Did it give you better bottom end
@@modmotorheadful yes this impeller was very nice compared to stock. It definitely has some jump out the hole but still a decent top end.
You must feel bad crashing that beautiful bike! I'm guessing you'll be fixing it up soon! Good luck!
Yes it's back in shape again. I was definitely upset, I messed my bike up and dislocated my arm. We are not invincible, but these moments remind us. Still a great running bike. One of my favorites for the woods.
Bro went back to the 80s 💀
Did the smoke stop !?
Yes it's just the engine fog from when I put it away in the winter. When you first fire it up it will burn it off and cause a lot of white smoke. After it runs and you get in the water it burns out completely. It's to prevent rust in the winter months.
May get a four stroke, more parts but prolly better longevity if not abused. Plus, less fuel consumption per given metric.
Yes the newer ones have longer life but love the 2 stroke snap. The XP is more of an offshore play around ski, not the best to travel miles on with gas consumption. Very fun ski to jump wakes or waves 100% When the 2 stroke does let go it's less $$ to rebuild.
waste to a nice old bike
I know, It was sad for me to look at. I got it all fixed up but hated myself after it happened. 😢
Bro on the 80s Yamaha has some skill
Thanks , that is a fun woods bike to ride. Surprisingly good for the age, that sucker is 40 yrs old.
Hey, it’s me Sebastian and that is so cool😮
Dude, we gotta go!
Is that a hose on the end of the pipe
Yes it was a piece of radiator hose to keep exhaust off my front arm and direct down. It held in there for a while but I ended up moving back to the rear dominator exhaust. That side pipe ripped but wasn't top dollar.
@@peteschannel508 i got a dual pipe for my 36 cc Baja and it’s the same thing but I have a body on mines and it will melt the body so I’m trying to figure out a way to move the exhaust from hitting the body
@@4x4logic4x4JOINTHEGANG yep I went to AutoZone and looked at the radiator hose shelf. There is 1/2 or 3/4" radiator hoses you can cut to length and even angle the cuts at the exit. Mine was hitting the top guard mount and melting it some as well. It works but eventually will fail but you'll have more from that hose you buy. Good luck!
@@peteschannel508 I was thinking even bending the exhaust but not sure it it will crack or break it
@@4x4logic4x4JOINTHEGANG I have not tried that, the hose works pretty well to get the job done. Get a nice hose clamp and high temp hose and you'll be straight.
That was insane fast 😮 what engine are you running?
Novarossi .21 engine. It was a used engine I got years ago, still does pretty damn good. Thanks
Yeeeee
Blame the backpack😂
Hahahaha, that's a good one!
Dam good lookin bike.
Wow!! That IT is in perfect shape!! Sounds GREAT!!!!
Thanks a lot. It's my baby for sure , I've had for over 20 yrs and gave it the love it needed. It's gotta port and polish job done , DG pipe, and jetted. Huge difference in power after that.
@@peteschannel508one of the best woods bikes ever, I miss my 86’
Brings back a lot of memories , 1985 to be exact .😮 Great bike you could register it here in Australia and chuck a wheelie instantly .Cheers
That is super cool, I always imagined riding it street legal, but pretty much stay in the woods so I never bothered.
Awesome vintage stadium 👌💥
Yeah thank you! I plan on dropping a brand new xtm engine in it when I get around to it. The 2wd stadium nitros are pretty neat compared to newer 4wds, very similar to the old school ST electric set ups.
@@peteschannel508 It’s a shame that the 2wd nitro stadiumtrucks basically has died these days ,hopefully one day they has a comeback !! I personally own among various nitros three stadium trucks ,the good old HPI Nitro Rush, the HPI firestorm and the for me absolutely unique Traxxas Jato which is waiting on the shelf to for the break in 🤗
@@voneboy I remember the losi ST with 18, and I definitely picked up a Jato a while back. I agree, they are fun and get squirly, need some skill to keep them running straight.
😂
Sweeeet kid
Rips with the 70 kit and clutch work now. Haven't had my son ride it in some time, but will need to again soon. Thanks
