Thanks alot! This is a 1984 Yamaha IT200, you are correct no power valves just some boysen dual stage reeds. It is all torque and does get a little snappy on the top. I have it port and polished and jetted. Very fun vintage bike to ride and I finally got the timing adjusted to my liking. Thanks for watching
@@peteschannel508 Very nice, i observed that snappy powerband, which I kind of like it, i have the same on my bike Yamaha dt 80 lc2 from 96' , but I love these kind of 2 strokes that got low end power even without the power valve, obviously you got more torque from the tuning porting and everything you done to it. But I agree these bikes are the most fun, even if I didn't get to try one yet, but in the near future I hope I will get one:).
@@ovidius9862 I have a 01 CR 250 I ride as well. I did a full rebuild on that and then did my IT 200. I'll need to check out that 80 you're talking about.
