My air fryer is beeping when i put the bottom basket in, but the display is not working at all. It was plugged in for a long time and haven’t been used and also there were some trips. What could have gone wrong here and any fixes?

YIKES! Made a “two part” smoothie this morning, found I was out of milk! Ran to store, returned, poured in milk, pushed top firmly down and flipped ON….. horrendous noise ….blender top blew off before I could hit OFF! CHEEEEEESCH!! Earlier, had left a large scoop spoon in blender jar😳 So……seems this was violent enough that it broke top of stud drive from its lower shaft. Unsure how to describe. Bottom of stud (the threaded end) is severed from stud end. I have a 6650 Oster. You make replacement repair look so easy Mr Fix It!😅 I’m a 90 yr old female and over the yrs have taken many things ( small appliances ) apart with great intentions…….only to find….. I couldn’t remember how to reassemble!!

So i must get continuity when touching both pins And no continuity by the 1 pin and the other pin to the body

Did the same as you did here but I used a cable tie to ream out the calcium. Washed out with a sprayer and blew it out. Tons of calcium came out. Ran vinegar through, then two pots of water and working like new.

Happily listening to "what it have is" and "it mashup", and the kiskidees outside arguing while you're off fetching something. 😅 Thanks for helping me fix my breadmaker... with sounds from my childhood. Ah hope yuh ting en up lineup straight straight an now fuh now. :)

Fix for the dredded 'SE' error: This is a failure of the membrane keypad connected to the circuit control board. Had a Samsung technician replace it years ago (it was a known issue, and under warranty), but now these parts run $110+!!! Instead of replacing, you can attempt to fix it FOR FREE: remove the control panel (for mine, this involved 2 tiny screws on top to remove the top front vent frame, then 1 screw to remove the panel, then disconnect the flex-ribbon to the keypad, then 4 screws to remove the circuit board). Once you have the touch pad, you need to dehumidify it -- no joke, put it in your refrigerator for a few hours. Or put it in a big container filled with rice. Whatever method you have. If you refrigerate, ensure no condensation develops as it warms up (I put mine in my oven preheated to 100F). Or you could seal it in a plastic bag for a couple hours with all the air out until it's warm again. Now reassemble, and see if it works again. Just did it myself and it worked!

your test doesn't show if diode is open or if it conducts, only shows if shorted.
