Little neat detail with the mixing of this song. After the intro Bocchi's part is isolated on the right side of your ear, while on the left side you hear the Kita, Ryo, and Nijika's. It just fits her character so much.

to settle these dispute . my opinion says ( as a bassist myself) ; both are music geniuses . ryo shows polished talent ,being highly knowledgeable , and what you own when u actually practices really hard . hiroi shows extreme focus , lingering passion , and what an experienced person can do . abt hiroi, it is true that she can immediately improv with neat techniques , but it does not change the fact that young ryo , is the one who composed both the bass riff and instrumental herself . we got to appreciate both since they carry different genre and playing style .

Ryo’s bassline is good but feels like she’s only playing because she KNOWS she’s good. Kikuri’s on the other hand is based on nothing but years of experience and understanding Bocchi.

Kikuri's little high note riff at about 1:45 is so grimy, unh 😩

Though I do love ryos, kukuris is just more sound and supportive. The person playing it clearly knew how to be the backbone. I strive to do the same with my playing
