What a p.o.s. they dont have to worry about selling me extra tape cause when im done with this cartrige its going in the trash... where it belongs. Having to get scissors out like its 1500 BC on a 2024 product is rediculous.

Nice series, can't believe some of the haters here and the previous videos. We are all here for the same reason, we purchased a label maker and we are too lazy to read the user's guide so we're watching a video series instead, lol. If you can't see her screen you can see her fingers and the buttons she presses, follow along on your machine and read your own screen. If she's going too fast, adjust the playback speed, pause and rewind if necessary, worst case, actually open your user's guide to whatever section you're having trouble with and read, she's not revealing any secrets, she is literally just going through the user's guide. If you're still not satisfied please post a link to your video where you do it so much better. Thanks again for the series.

This machine might be great for some but most should stay far away impossible to navigate with out a pile of wasted labels that aren't cheap its far from intuitive waste of money imo

Thanks for the demo! I just bought this printer, and while the print results and options are fine for my needs, I’m quite frustrated by the horrible screen display, the wasted tape and proprietary AC power supply. I have adjusted the contrast on the screen, and the super thin default menu font is very hard to read. Why didn’t they use a bolder menu font, like what we see when we preview our label design with the magnifying glass? Epic fail, Brother! The wasted tape seems odd, but I suppose it’s a way to sell more tape. Whatever… I have FOUR AC adapters that meet the exact power specifications of the printer, but I get a warning that says WRONG ADAPTER. I confirmed all adapters work, so this is a bit suspect. Overall, I think it’s an OK printer, but these design flaws will annoy me every time I use it.

I cannot see the screen.

I looked at your video library, and didn't see any PT-2040C, PT-2040SC or PT-2040W tutorials. This is prob the most sold label maker in the United States given they are the Costco, Sam's Club, and BJ's label makers for ~$20 on sale. They must sell millions per year. You sell label maker supplies and accessories. Why don't you make videos for likely the most sold label maker in the US? You don't sell label makers themselves so there's not much overlap. You get more money from prob tens of thousands of views, and a link to your store (and maybe get Amazon affiliate links for the actual label maker; but it opens the door for them to buy supplies off Amazon), which has different color, widths, and accessories for PT2040 makers which aren't sold at Costco or BJs..

lining up the label is horrible, there are labelers that make this job much easier.

How effective is the sticking adhesive behind ?

Can you show us how to make a 3"L x 1" W that says "hello," with the largest text that fills and spreads out to cover most of tape size selected? I organize homes for a living and I need consistent sizes with BIG letters in caps. Thank you for your videos.

Kinda annoying you rely on cutting yourself for not having so much margin waste. Why can't the "small Margin" be smaller, or there even be a setting where you have no initial waste before cutting your label. I always have to Cut 2 times. First the Margin, then it prints and tells me to cut my actual label.

I received a PTH110 a few days ago. And I'm most likely returning it because the LCD is virtually illegible. Only visible in lighting that's just right and from a limited range of angles. I'm considering this printer, even though it costs twice as much. I like the display (as seen here), and the fact that it can interface with my PC.

I just got mine today and printed a few test labels, which look fine! But, I hate the LCD display. Low contrast, difficult to read. And low resolution, like something from the 1980s. I guess I'll just have to live with the display. UPDATE: I couldn't tolerate the display and traded it for a Brother P-Touch PT- D610BT. It cost more, but I'm MUCH more happy with it.

This seems like an intentional design flaw in order to get you to buy more tape.

I subscribed. Excited to get my new PTD410 later this week. So much organizing to do, free tape would be awesome.

An easier way is to use the maximum character length and write all the labels together seperated with a : no need for all those button presses. 10 labels in go with 8 characters or 5 with 16 charachters
