@@banzairunner7860 Unfortunately not, I’m just reformatting some of my older videos to post as Reels/ Shorts in the mean time. Not much is left though, just accessories need to be installed and fluids 🤞🏻

@@randyenes4052 I never found an exact culprit but it seems to be the timing belt was either old or never changed. I posted the full video if you’re interested to watch, this happened almost a year ago unfortunately but the car should be done soon.

@SebastianDykier no clue before it got 2 our shop he said he he brought it 5 other places and they said no my guess is that you need a floor lift to lift this thing

@@reemer911 ah that makes sense, the extended chassis probably can be bent or damaged easily during maintenance if not done right

It was my idea 😂 and normally everywhere I travel, I rent a car and do as the locals… just here it didn’t work out as well 😬 I don’t regret it because it was an experience of a lifetime and in the end it worked out so… best birthday ever 😆

@@SebastianDykier i also went in bad road with the car but seeing such conditions I would just go back, how did you think to go back after you got to the desired destination after that much effort just to arrive? 🤣🤣 Who paid for the destruction of the car?

@@Frivals On the official Madagascar website it warned that the roads and bridges will be in bad condition or non existing, so I thought it was normal. We paid the insurance deductible for the car after we got back to the city 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@SebastianDykier how much you paid the rental per day? On Skyscanner says there isn't any car for rent in Madagascar

@Frivals I honestly don’t remember how much it was but it was with Avis and maybe because of us they stopped renting 🤣

The fact I did research is what got us in so deep. Before hand I read on the official Madagascar website that the country is very poor and it’s normal to see broken/ missing bridges, abandoned infrastructures and so on. With that being said we kept on trucking, I think the biggest problem was trusting google maps. No one would assume in today’s day and age that a 5 hr drive on google maps would turn into days. Regardless in the end we did adapt and find a safe way out. As weird as it sounds I don’t regret the trip at all.

Although Madagascar is French owned, it’s been neglected since the 70s I believe and it shows. The route we took is really not a popular one so I’m not surprised it’s not correctly documented

I believe Jerry from Apocalypse has done videos like that for their instagram but if I come across the opportunity I definitely will 💪🏻
