I have the 7840U version with the 2.8k display. Even when running games in window mode, the fans run crazy and I'm not even playing anything graphic intensive. Mostly gacha and jrpgs.

I have an Atari 2600+ and boy do I love that console. My favorite game for the system so far is Breakout and I plan to buy a bunch of Atari games for my collection. I have other games and systems to buy, so buying Atari games may slow me down.

how about just using the microsd as a bootable usb to install on an SSD? this is because we don't have a real usb. I don't want to install windows on the micrsod

Thanks for this. I’m installing on a Mac Pro on a drive that has Windows 11. I had to use GParted on an Ubuntu live usb to create the partitions as the Bazzite installer kept failing to do so. I had to reformat the 1GiB ext4 partition under Bazzite as it threw an error regarding format of /boot. Now it’s installing I’ll update to say if it succeeded or not.

Did your XTX not come with a support to prevent sagging? Make sure you tune the video card in Adrenaline software, it will help a lot with the cooling.

I hope you bought those parts at a discount because for 2700 dollars you could build a very good system with Ryzen 7800x3D and RTX 4080 Super.

I think the bazzite team changed something with the USB configuration, because the installer only worked for me if i left the USB config to XHCI. Just giving a heads up for those that are going to use this tutorial.

I have a WD Black 500gb - WD500LPLX will this drive work? My stock 250gb drive ran out of space 😭😭

For such and easy task, took me hours. Had to build a win7 system to make the bootable usb as Win10-11 say Write protected. After that had to get out a legacy MB to RUN hddhackr as my laptop had no ata drive error. But I got it flashed (500gbWD) and it worked fine in the xbox 360. Formatted right up and Installed a game on the drive.

It was January 17 2003, I was 20 and when I had enough money form my job that day, I went to a Walmart in Great Falls, Montana and bought a new, unopened XBox. I was lucky enough to get a v1.0 box. (yeah, it hadn't been out that long, but that year before the 1.1 boards were already out. My first game was Morrowind. I played that and a little known gem called Metal Dungeon. After having the XBox fora couple months, I went out, hunted down a copy of MechAssult and an Action Replay memory unit thing and soft modded it. six month later, upgraded the rive to a 250GB and started copying games to the box. I would go to Hastings and rent a few games, spend a day or two copying them to the hard drive, take them back for credit to rent out a few more. I still have it in a box in my parent's garage. I need to retrieve it and fix it up.

My recommendation for anyone trying to repeat this is to change the size of the partitions as you are installing Windows, instead of resizing after the fact. If you set custom size instead of automatically using all the space when Windows is selecting the drive, you don't have to deal with that extra partition at the end of the disk. When installing Bazzite, make sure to create the extra EFI partition along with Boot and root. Each OS install should get its own EFI partition, so there is no conflicts when doing upgrades and such.

Have you checked out clover for dual boot? Also any particular reason you went with bazzite vs the valve image?
