The door frames, do you screw them together with the plastic sandwiched between? Same with the base boards? Plastic Sandwiched with 2x4’s and screwed together?

We had excellent luck over the years with wiggle wire. Vevor makes a version they call spring wire and lock channel. If you're not familiar with it I think you're going to love it. Good luck and keep growing.😁

The problem I’ve always had is the poles kink when we get high winds and then they flex back and forth, then fail eventually. I wonder if drilling a couple holes every couple of feet and injecting expanding foam would make them more rigid.

I screwed up a little on my 12x7x7, but overall I copied a lot of what you did. The structure stability went from a 3/10 to a 8.5/10. Thank you for these tips! You're awesome, man. Gonna try your gutter hack on my next greenhouse that'll be a bit bigger.

Shade mesh from Home Depot works nice as a long lasting plastic replacement after it disintegrates.

you will regret the plastic...put the uv commercial grade poly

Had 1 . Lasted 3 years even with bringing the tarps inside they break down and disintegrate. I'd also put in a temporary center support beam or 2 during big rains as the rain or snow can still collapse the whole frame

I don't know what state are you live but me and my husband we buy one and have a lot wind here in SC we stand the greenhouse house 4 times .

Just a thought, you might want to space these out some so you can walk between them. I saw a manufacturers video saying you can use a UV protection liquid to help extend the life of the plastic beyond what it’s guaranteed to last. Thanks for posting, good job building your tunnels.

Hi.You didn´t fix the greenhouse frame to the wood frame with anything? The only way you fixed it was when you add an outdoor wood frame and fixed the plastic to it? I watch the other video and that is what i understood. Thank you so much for your answer :) It´s gone be my first tunnel greenhouse and i want to make the best of it :)

Is it possible to remove one middle section to reduce the length of greenhouse from 12' to 16.5' ? I see there are 6 sections along the length , so each may be 3.3' long . I understand the plastic is 20' long , so one has to attach all sections to let the plastic mount properly. But I am thinking for the possibility to reduce the length , when it's time to replace this plastic in few years . Also since the pipes are 0.8" in diameter, can 3/4" or 1" pvc snap clamp be used to hold the plastic tight to the pipe instead of using wooden base board ?

Is the frame of the tunnel riding on top of the 2x4 it’s hard to tell?

Where I live in the UK, even with your reinforcements they'd still just be expensive kites. Where I have my tunnel even professional tunnels get wrecked. Those cheap Vevor/Outsunny types just crumple in the first winter storm!

I wouldn’t put them tight together like that. You do have to clean them ,and if you get a heavy snow you have no way of getting it off.

I've put up a lot of tunnels over the years,and adding rigidity to the frame supplied,and getting the cover good and tight is the key.I would add extra diagonal as i m 680ft up a mountain in West cork ireland.Will be ordering one next week.thanks for sharing your thoughts and info.bless you and yours,and stay safe and lucky.maddog.off grid horse drawn survivalist.the republic of Ireland
