Suddenly I had this problem of the engine stalling for no apparent reason. In the end I found out that it was caused by a cut wire, one of the ones connecting the immobiliser contactless key antenna to the Ecu. On the cbr this receiver is the one close to the key ignition switch labaled HISS. Hope you can find this useful!

Ciao, sono due moto che ho avuto, prima z1000sx poi bmw ora e posso fare paragoni su strada più che su banco prova. Tu dichiari che il bmw ha una coppia taurina, direi che sia normale avendo un bicilindrico di 1250cc con variatore fase, serve altro?? Kawa tira più in alto, normale, è un 4 in linea.Dichiari che bmw è un motore per le marce alte, grossa cazzata, Prova bmw a 36 km/h in 6 e accelera e vedrai che manco di arrivi a quel valore, già in 6 fai fatica in piano a 55 orari.kawa a 36 in 6 marcia ci riesce senza problemi in quanto per fare quella velocità ha un rapporto più corto rispetto al rapporto finale di bmw. Questo consente alla Kawa di difendersi bene dove bmw è effettivamente potente come coppia, ma che poi si perde nell'allungo dove resta indietro di 20km, inoltre le prende da 0/100/200, e nel miglio si busca 2,5 secondi. Quindi se avesse tutta questa coppia come mai in accelerazione le prende? se mi parli che aprendo in 3 ad es. bmw è superiore ci sto, bicilindrico contro 4 è normale, ma fatti 2000 giri Kawa ti saluta.Il peso di bmw è un limite(260kg). Per verificare cosa scrivo aggiungi ai tuoi grafici le relative velocità e vedrai che in basso bmw non è poi quel mostro che lo dipingi. Io ripeto avevo prima di bmw z100 e ora r1250rs anno 2023. nuova.

Must’ve been a joy to find the root cause! I was struggle with a weird misfire losing two cylinders and after lots of diagnostics, replacing fuel pump, plugs, coils, checking upper and lower injectors… turns out to be a simple but very hidden bad wiring harness to the coils. Worst part was that it was very hard to reproduce so I couldn’t tell if I fixed it until I am riding on the hwy where the wiring would become loose when engine is hot and vibrating. Glad you solved your issue!

What year model is this? I have a 2008 and you have a little extender bracket at the 7 o'clock position that I don't have (@ 4:49). My fairing doesn't fit properly without this bracket.
2012, that little extender was custom made to fit the non oem fairing
But it has nothing to do with the protections
Hey man, thank you for the vid. I just mounted the same product you linked but I'm concerned about the lower fairing touching the stock alternator. Is it any problem with yours? Does it melts or cracks due to the engine high vibrations? Ride safe!

Purtroppo non avevo dati a riguardo… scartabellando un po da bmw mi pare di ricordare che l avevo messa a 60Nm. Ma non tirarla mai al massimo subito fai 40-50-60 cosi passo passo vedi se tiene bene

I had the same issue pink cable inside the harness was cut, I welded it and it worked fine but now it has started doing again, planning to replace the hiss immobilizer ring. You got it disconnected from the ignition, is it possible to do without taking out the entire ignition, looks like you did it without taking out ignition switch. What kind of tool is needed for the bolts? Are they hex or philips what size?
I did a trick actually: started the engine and then unplugged the hiss. The connector is under the tank cover on the left. But it must be plugged to start the bike. I don't have my bike with me right now but they screws should be hex. It was a long ago but I don't recall having to use special tools for that. Hope it helps.
For me the problem was the "black hard plastic pipe" which contains all the hiss wires. It was damaged and was cutting the wires inside it.
@Diego Mattioli sure I am planning to do it till I get the HISS antena.... but is it confirm that the bike will start everytime? It's dumb the way honda designed it.... everytime the key is taken out and inserted back in then it shall re-engage the hiss
@@wali363 I did that trick four or five times, and every time it worked. The issue is that you have to remove the tank cover and ride the motorbike without it.
7:52 probably the left upper fairing as well but yes, every time you stop the bike, you have to replug everything to make it start again!

ciao, video chiarissimo complimenti, volevo chiederti che misura sono le viti nel "tappo" quella che hai aperto con la T55 per capirci, dico questo perchè me la sono persa e il paramotore anche se è rimasto al suo posto vibra, sa dove trovare la vite di ricambio per posizionarla e fissare di nuovo il paramotore ? grazie
Ciao Pietro, allora la vite originale è una M12x50. Quella che ti sei perso non lo so dipende dal paramotore. Non ho la moto sottomano e non riesco a vedertela. Secondo me puoi o chiedere dove lo hai comprato oppure ricalcoli la lunghezza come 50mm + lo spessore aggiuntivo creato dal paramotore rispetto alla battuta precedente della vite. Altro metodo è calcolare la profondità del buco dal suo fondo fino alla battuta della vite dopodiché scegli la vite con lunghezza leggermente inferiore. A occhio è una M12x75 circa ma non posso metterci la mano sul fuoco non avendo la moto con me👍🏼

@@pietrodimauro3388 prendere l'originale è la strada più facile e sicura ma non conviene, un qualsiasi sito o brico va bene, unico consiglio: non elemosinare su una vite e occhio alle coppie di serraggio, ne troppo ne troppo poco.
