Great video, thanks. Curoius about your experience. I have a large 21 that is at 75% lockup, and developed a slight up-down rock. I used (and continue to do so) it as my work knife for many years, sharpened hundreds of times. The 'nest' for the pocket clip is damaged, so the original clip rocks, had to install an aftermarket clip. Im thinking about getting it back on shape. Since the handle has inlays, no blast for me. Maybe a new blade in latest miracle steel. Stay sharp! Part 2 please.

my problem is opening it super stiff on a boker trapper urban cleaned it polished parts played with pivot nothing anything else i can do ?

Great knife for EDC, only issue is the pocket clip needs more tension,for the price you don't want bad boy falling out of your pocket.

I have to agree with the heat treat being amazing!! I have two biblios and I used my fire fat carbon one today cutting up boxes for 8 hours at work and it’s still bites into my finger! Still hair popping sharp! Still had the fine edge! I’ve never had m390 perform this good!

I have this exact knife. Very smooth and strong. I just purchased a 040 as well. Two tone partially serrated. Wanted the all black one but they’re no where to be found. As soon as they’re available, I’ll get the all black model. So, I’ll have two 040s. Great video.

Good video, but I hate to break it to you, you’re not using the nail nick properly. No one opens a slipjoint knife like that, and it’s why you’re having trouble with the nick. Try combining that with your pinch open alternative and you’ll have no problems. Nail in nick, pinch at the same time, and easy open. Definitely going to rip a nail trying to push it open with just your nail from the bottom like that.
