GUIDE
Enjoy! www.twotimescreative.com.au/premiereguides
You just made me have a much grater respect for cameramans
Mission accomplished
Here are my considerations. 1. Am I posting to TH-cam? Yes - Landscape No - Portrait 2. Lens choice. I've been shooting a lot with the 70-200mm and the crop in when reframing for socials makes the frame far too tight to see what's going on. So shooting with that lens makes it necessary to shoot vertically if the intended use is social media. Shooting 24-70 is great when shooting landscape and allowing that space to crop in post. 3. Turn around time. Often times when shooting tournaments or events, the video needs to get delivered at half-time or within half an hour after a game. Although the auto-reframe feature is pretty good, taking that out of my workflow saves crucial minutes when on a tight deadline. Trusting my ability to track the action and frame the shots properly the first time around votes towards shooting vertically. 4. Equipment I shoot on the A7IV and the 4k/50p setting is shot at a crop. If I want to keep my lower end focal range of 70mm when shooting from the baseline, and a high frame rate, I'm limited to shoot at 1080p. Having a fully articulating screen is important for ergonomics too when constructing your rig. Save the weight and the angle. Stopped bothering with a monitor. Especially for long tournament days.
@@jrsmithmedia Huge points all round. Taking everything into consideration, assuming you’ve got a decent laptop to handle editing 4k, I’m still choosing shooting landscape 4k.
keep going brooo😊❤
🤛
nice work, DD initials are crazy tho
Good video lads, first time being suggested your content! Great find 👍 Do you think the Quality/Quantity debate is platform specific? Growth seems to be going well for me on TH-cam long form. But short form YT/TikTok I don't seem to be able to put out the volume to grow at the same rate
You've made my Friday, glad to hear it popped up. I think that's an excellent point and yes I think it is platform specific. eg. I'd say right now most are quality tbh, there would've been a time I would've said IG/TikTok was quantity though. It's ever-changing and that's the tough part about it
1. Re using AI for image enhancement, this is both an important & necessary tool in some industries, such as fashion photography, where, for example, a lingerie manufacturer has see-through lingerie to shoot but doesn't want to sexualise either the models or the clothing. 2. Throughout your entire discussion about AI you never mentioned Allen Iverson once. What the hell?
I knew there couldn't be a 100% serious comment from you, but your first point is a very good one. Your second point... not so much.
@@TwoTimesCreative ouch
at the end of the day its a tool. kinda reminds me of image filters. good in moderation but once abused everything goes south fast
I rate this view, treat it as a tool as you would anything else at your disposal but don't exploit it
Regarding success & failure, it is impossible to succeed at anything until you have failed at something. If you read this & are thinking "WTF?", go check out a famous quote about being a failure, by the most celebrated sportsperson of all time - the one & only Michael Jordan.
Very true words.
Re "Barker & Basketball", I have listened to every episode. Do I get some kind of prize for that?
The best prize there is - respect.
Still got my BHS t-shirt & I wear it with pride
I appreciate this🎉 also a content creator from ghana 🇬🇭
Love it! Are you full-time or freelance?
@ a freelance. Content creation is my part time, only on weekends for now. I am trying to go full time in it.
@@arshavinstudios Let us know if you have any questions about it, it's a exciting/daunting time.
Hey there I'm your 82d sub

great content, keep 'em coming!
Great to have you here, appreciate it!
I wish you guys luck.
Thanks!
What inspires you when it comes to content creation? Where do you get your ideas?
That’s a smart tip! Being asked to shoot both photo and video is a tricky one, but prioritising video for those exciting moments makes a lot of sense.
@@YourStoryStudios Appreciate it! I think so, and of course it changes project to project but I’ve found this strategy helpful in the past.

This video is not about "what" slog is, but a guide on how to use slog :/
Thanks for watching. I'd disagree, how to use SLOG would be showing the correct exposure/settings when you're filming imo
Hey thanks for the video! I would be interested in the under/over exposing video in the future
Welcome! I'll plan one for the near-future. Thanks for watching.
Thought bro was talking abt the jumper 😅
That's gold, didn't realise it could sound like that 😂
Loving the BTS content!

Hey , I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your highly engaging videos and thumbnails which will help your video to reach to a wider audience and increase your subscribers and viewers.
Thanks. I'm an open book? Flick me an email at michael@twotimescreative.com.au to give me a bit of an insight into what you do.

Insightful!
Super wise to find someone that has walked the path before you. Figuring out your systems and having them efficient is such a game changer and gives you the confidence to scale. If you scale a mess you’ll just have a bigger mess. Congrats on your first retainer man. Massive achievement. Sky’s the limit 📈
110%. I'm glad I realised this sooner rather than later, trick is finding the right someone as there's a lot of different advice/coaching out there. Appreciate it!
Both are good advice. But please elaborate the second a bit more.
Essentially, don’t always just take photos of the main characters, shoot everything. Someone totally unexpected might see your photo of them and reach out to link up which might lead to more work etc.
Did you film this at the state netball centre?😂
No but close, Parkville Stadium
Put the link in bio!
