Brilliant. You should really not hand your string lights by the cord. It’s a fire hazard. Says right on the package. Get some chain to hang them from. Cheap and safe.

Alfagrog and lava rock are both the cheapest and most effective ways to go with bio-media. Do not pay for a big-name company.

Do all the joints need to be glued before the siphon works, I can not get mine to work.

If you want an eyebath i would go for the cheaper one

With the disc installed it looks like you could add quite a bit more K1!

Thanks so much for this video. I've a new house with a pond and a very similar type of DIY overflow. But there are pipes missing and it doesn't work. It hasn't got the holes and air pipe. I've now got a pond maintenance project for tomorrow to fix it 🙂.

Great thanks for that! Think I will add a skimmer tray and leaf filter to the intake as well. So hopefully it will catch leaves and do some cleaning for me also.

Hi mate u still doing the tower filters

Sitting in the house day 9 of covid it seemed to go and come back again I took the time checking on products I may need for the pond this year filter floss and medication, pipe and connectors as I look after the water fish and upgrade and contacted Stuart at Discount Leisure Products who can do a deal on most things. Having 3 tubs with filter floss in it’s the one thing I am always looking for and he offered me the best price I could find in the UK I think this year is going to be one for more testing of the water and fish so as the water warms up, I will put a week dose of a Blanketweed Algae Control Treatment into the pond each week I will also start and treat the pond with half dose every 2 seeks of Formalin and Malachite to weaken any bugs that may come along.
