My Top 5 Electrical Mods Travato G
มุมมอง 1.3K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I have done many mods in my 2018 Travato G. Some I did because I wanted to make it easier to use, some because I wanted to make it uniquely mine, and some just because. In this video I show my top 5 electrical mods.

Lagun Table Mod with Puzzle Bed Mod
มุมมอง 8K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I was sick of the arrangement of the table in my Travato G. I was always bumping into it leaving the cab. Even using the table was difficult because of the leg underneath. I thought that putting the puzzle bed together was a hassle. Why wasn't the design better and more useable? I haven't hesitated in the past to take a drill and saw to the van to make it mine. I thought that I could figure out...

Travato G Shower Drain Bypass
มุมมอง 1K4 ปีที่แล้ว
There may be times when I am boondocking or am camping at a site without sewer hookup and I wish to preserve gray tank space. I can use this bypass to collect gray water in a bucket and dump it into my black tank or take it to a restroom and dump it. I can easily bypass the shower drain pump now with a switch i the bathroom. Currently unavailable, I used 3/4' auto return ball valve: amzn.to/3m9...

How to Wire in a Timer for Auto Water Pump Shut Off

This video shows you how to wire in a simple digital timer to use for automatic shut off of a water pump. You won't have to worry about accidentally leaving your water pump on when you are away from your Travato.
Travato Auxillary Water Pump Switch
มุมมอง 6K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Many Travato owners see the utility in having an auxiliary water pump switch in the bathroom or galley. I try to explain how to do this simple modification. Do this mod at your own risk. You will need: Momentary switch: amzn.to/2xroAVk Wire (example, you won't need this much): amzn.to/3a77Y2q

Travato Water Pump Automatic Shutoff
มุมมอง 5654 ปีที่แล้ว
I installed this automatic water pump shutoff using a simple digital timer. The timer is installed like an auxiliary momentary switch to turn off the water pump at 15 minutes. I think that it is a good safety mechanism in case turning off the pump is forgotten. The timer works like an auxiliary switch which passes a momentary pulse from ground to the trigger of the water pump switch module. Thi...

You did not show this in the videos (could you provide a link if you liked them?). 2) I didn’t quite understand how the struts were linked to the wall and the floor? I know you can’t take it apart, but could you provide a simple drawing? 3) Are you happy with the floor connectors? How thick do they need to be keep the base from moving? 4) what material did you use to cover the plywood? I’d like to use something that’s is pet friendly. Thank you in advance and again, nice job. I don't know what Winnebago was thinking when they put in those stupid drawers. All that wasted space between them. And they didn't even put a floor under them so that you could take the drawers out and immediately have some usable space down there. No, you have to take the whole bed apart to get in there to add a deck and make it into something usable. We now have the disadvantage of living in a condo instead of a house with a shop or garage. When we downsized, my husband gave most of his big shop tools to the son-in-law, keeping just handheld power tools. We bought the Travato right before lockdown. My plan was to join our local woodshop which has all those tools, but that's been closed since March. Arghhh! The downside of downsizing...

@@kconatymd And not strain her back trying to lift up and swivel down that heavy dining table! My husband is 6'2" and has no trouble reaching over and doing that. I am 5'4" and the angle is just awkward dealing with that table. So I try to leave it for him to do, but sometimes I have to. I removed that bolster/headrest that remains on the wall when you take the cushions down. If you want to prop up pillows and sit up, it can be in the way of your head. It's screwed in from the rear and not easy to do - my husband had to cut off the screws flush with the wall. Then we found that it's instrumental in keeping that back cushion in place (!), so I'm going to put it back up with Velcro so it can be removed when I want.
