CrushGrind - Let's crush boring food

Based on the principles of the old mortar, CrushGrind® was developed to be more than just a pepper mill - established to create a better grinder than available on the market.
Through will, passion and a bit of nerdiness we invented the original ceramic mechanism - a revolution of traditional pepper mills enabling consumers to grind not only pepper, but also salt and all sorts of dried herbs and spices. Our invention made releasing the essential oils and full aromas from spices possible.
With our 1994 mill we offered a new and better way to adjust the grinder and an easier way to fill the spices.
Our mindset is characterized by our authentic story and eagerness to create better kitchen tools.
We aim to inspire our consumers and give them the best gastronimic experience, because we believe that everybody deserves one.

Thank you for taking time to share your comments. We are glad to hear that you are satisfied with our product.
My peugeot u select was a huge let down would love to try this instead
Thank you for your kind words. If you are close to a Christiania GlasMagasin, then you might be able to find the product there.
@@crushgrind-letscrushboring314 yes sir i am, gonna send my peugeot mill for a refund first then im pretty sure its a crushgrind mill instead.
Hello, how do we wash the Crush Grind please ?
Hello. Thank you for reaching out to us. You can clean most residues in the ceramic grinder teeth simply by grinding some coarse salt. If your grinder needs a more thourogh clean, you can disassemble the ceramic grinder stone. You can find some guidance here: www.crushgrind.com/pages/how-to
Mine stopped grinding without reason. I've taken it apart and can't figure out how to fix it.
Thank you for letting us know about your problem. Please contact our customer service at info@crushgrind.com. Then we will make sure to help you.
Did you guys put an ad on your 15 second ad?
Hi :) Can these be used for just pepper?
Hi, thank you for reaching out. You can use these for salt, pepper and all types of dried spices and herbs. Enjoy ;-) Best regards from The CrushGrind Team
At 8:03 how is the head piece attached to the lathe? Is it a jig or different Jaws?
Dear Evan. Thank you for your question. The head piece is held in position with serrated step jaws in expansion mode. If you send us an email on info@crushgrind.com, then we can reply with photos showing details (we cannot upload photos in a reply). Best regards from the CrushGrind-Team
Where do you purchase the Peppermill tool for cutting the notch for the inside the Peppermill for the mechanism?
Hi Mike. Please contact us at info@crushgrind.com. Then we will give you some advice depending on where you live.
Beautiful grinder - love the design. Thank you for posting this... and I didn't mind the 'music' and even if I did... I have a volume button. Fascinating to watch - be great if you did a beginners lesson on this as there seems some really useful basics in this.
Thank you for your comments and suggestion, David. We would like to hear more about the needs for a beginners lesson. Would you mind contacting us on info@crushgrind.com? Then we can try to accomodate. Thank you.
Yes, very good visual. But there is no way I could reproduce that at this stage in my experience. I wish there was talk rather than music explaining what was going on.
The ABOMINABLE background "music" made me run for cover. If it wasn't for the fact that I've made a few CrushGrind Salt, Pepper and Coffee Bean grinders in my time, I would have been put off for life. In all earnest, what percentage of turners do you think watch YT video's for the "music"? Definitely why you only have 112 subscribers.
Hi McCallan, Thank you for your comment - and have great day!
I think this is a little bit overblown. Do you not have a volume control or mute?
Would have liked to have better details on sizing/ drilling and more importantly cutting of notches for mechanism.
Hi Eric Thank you for your comment. Please find the details on sizing/drilling through this link: www.crushgrind.com/collections/crushgrind-mechanisms/products/crushgrind-shaft?variant=32234060742739 You are also welcome to contact us at info@crushgrind.com if you need further information. Best regards The CrushGrind Team
I went to the link and could find no such instructions; perhaps you could help
Just bought this one - 🤩 beautiful design and fantastic feeling in hand!! ❤️❤️
Thank you for your kind comment. We appreciate it :-)
If i want grill marks on my food ill grill
Ok ok that one like was me u better sub yo me
What direction do you adjust for finer and coarser grind?
You turn the adjusting wheel clockwise to set to a finer grind - and anticlockwise for a coarser grind
Just got one of these for GBP19. Very good and easy to use. Yet to find out the adjustment
Great to hear that you are satisfied with the product, so far. The adjustment is done by the grey wheel by the grinder mechanism. When you turn the wheel clockwise, you will tighten it, and the grind size will be smaller. When you turn anti-clockwise, you will loosen the wheel, and the grind size gets bigger. Enjoy your freshly ground coffee.
@@crushgrind-letscrushboring314 Awesome thanks. Very impressive so far
Where did you buy it from for £19?
@@stephenmacks23 Lakeland had a sale
@@rosskennedy1922 thanks for your reply, I ended up buying the ARZUM OKKA Beangourmet from Amazon UK for £24.90. It uses the same Crushgrind mechanism, holds more and has a silicon sleeve to hold and a silicon base. So far so good as I've only had it since yesterday evening. It also has a handy adapter to make adjustments easier. Worth looking at!
Very cool design.
Thank you! The product is designed by the Scandinavian design company, Carl & Carl. Originally it was launched on Kickstarter back in 2017
@@crushgrind-letscrushboring314 I would like to order but there is no selection for Canada in the country address dropdown. How do I order?
@@lacidari Thank you for your interest in our product. We regret that we do not ship to Canada. But our distributor in North America is selling the product on Amazon.com. Please try Amazon. Best regards from the CrushGrind team
@@crushgrind-letscrushboring314 Looks like your seller on Amazon is not doing very well in the ratings. Would not buy from them that is for sure.
Nice set. I just bought this Brazil CrushGrind model, I am looking forward to enjoy its advantages. I would really appreciate if you could tell me the model of your french press, I love it. Thank you very much. Regards ; )
We hope you will enjoy your new Brazil Coffee grinder. The french press is from the Danish brand, Stelton. It is a Stelton EM (Erik Magnussen) french press
@@crushgrind-letscrushboring314 thanks a lot for your answer!!!
