Very little risk if you've got the proper equipment to test the psu and second hand cpu's are built really well and rarely have issues except for maybe some bent pins or at worst faulty ones

@88-bit-tech im glad u know the PSU is really where I was getting......psu tester is def a handy tool and ur right....complete risk eliminator. Great build. I built virtually the same rig for my son. 5600x, asrock b550 4, crucial gen 4 1tb, 16gb some team group rgb ram, a580 in an nzxt flow....mine was just under 700 but with new parts and gen 4. Wanted to make sure he'd be set for a gpu upgrade incase the arc doesnt cut it but hes 8 and just wants to play a year old stuff so i think he'll be fine

@88-bit-tech funny enough my personal computer is probably aboit $1500 but i built it for around 400. 15 12600k new Msi mag z790 used($99 from $217) Kyngston fury ddr5 Wd blue 1tb 5700xt used (150) All in a lian li dynamic evo xl that was in the damn dumpster(free)

@ I built the pc and the card is so good and much better than my previous laptop for switch emulation thank you for the realistic video

oh and then i also had to manually fix the timings and did a custom profile on the ram cause xmp profile 1 didnt work same thing happened with the huananzhi h610 mobo i have as well.

@@tugb0at01 glad to hear yours worked fine, but for two motherboards to exhibit the same exact issues and to have occt kick back errors in cpu and ram stability tests I still can't recommend them from personal experience. Thats one hec of a coincidence. At the very least it shows a lack of quality testing on their part. I even messaged Huananzhi about the issue before they shipped the second one asking them to make sure this one was working which they said they would do, but unfortunately they still sent another faulty motherboard

@@jiranonsiriyaraj728 this board only supports 12th and 13th gen according to the specs sheet. Unfortunately I don't have a 14th gen to test it.

@@EladMani i still recommend getting something off the psu tier list. That said, I'm still using on my test bench for well over a year now and have tested dozens of gpu, cpu, ram combinations and its till going strong.

If the card is no longer recognised I don't think it will work as it least has to show up to be able select the card to flash. You may need to try other methods like flashing via usb.

@@Heresstuie I agree with you, but I got the i3 12100f for an insane deal so it made sense to get a cheap mobo like these to build a really good build gaming pc with an upgrade path

I would not recommend something like this for important stuff like that. If you need a cheap option go with xraydisk pro instead. Since it'll be running 24/7 definitely recommend a heatsink for it

@88-bit-tech OK thanks. I just ordered the 1tb 2.5" Xraydisk metal SSD. It was only $50 Aud delivery on sale at the moment. If I get 2 years out of it I'll be happy

I left it at the office and happen to have a few different touch pens so I'll test it out next time I'm in the office. It definitely works with those bigger ones though. Like the one with one side a pen on the other side a big capactive squishy ball thing 😅

windows doesn't recognise the publisher so you have to allow it and run anway

@@bl4ckr4bbit they have stayed on the entire time! I bought textured gel insole inserts and cut them to fit perfectly and since its gel, no need for tape as they are already sticky enough to adhere om their own. It's help me a lot to differentiate my thumb placement.

@@eikbolha5883 at least modders got us covered! LukeFZ recently updated his fsr3.1 mod and it's even better. Also the free optiscaler mod got updated too

Glad it helped! I've tested the rx 580 8gb 2048sp pretty extensively and even in late 2024 is cable of 1080p gaming in modern titles! Especially i you utilise all the tools you can to get the best experience with your gpu

@@hugemanrocks657 I'd say the s880 only because they list the exact controller the ssd uses. With s790 you may get the same controller as the s880 but it could be something else. In the end they're both tlc non dramless ssd so they're about equivalent. Personally, I'd go with whatever is cheaper

Thanks for watching and I appreciate you sharing your perspective but you are factually incorrect on a lot of points. Plenty of data from reliable sources show that the Ryzen 5 5500 is more than capable of 1080p gaming which is what this rig was targeted for. Cyberpunk ran at ultra settings with 90+ average fps. Why would that look terrible? It's quite literally the highest settings without ray tracing. Not to mention I also tested it on Warzone, CS2, Helldivers, and Forza Horizon 5 at high, very high, or Ultra and got 60+ fps average with no crashes, smooth frame time, and no stuttering. I'm not the only one with data to back up the capabilities of this CPU. You are also wrong about inegrated graphics beating out the rx 580 8gb. You'd need to buy, not just a good cpu/mobo combo with "good on board graphics," but a top tier AMD CPU like the AM5 8700G (which is super expensive) and even that igpu is close to the performance of an rx 580 8gb, but still get's beat by it. Also intels best deskop igpu with 14900k currently is the UHD 770 at the top end and they are terrible and fall way behind AMD. Also b450 mobo's support all 5000 series AM4 cpu's, so it theoretically has a lot of upgrade options in the future. Tech yes city showed it even works with a 5700x3d and another reviewer used his 5800x3d right out of the box and it worked fine. While yes the board is limited to pcie 3.0, Gamers Nexus showed that it isn't all that bad and you'll only see a 1-3% loss from 4.0 cards so GPU upgrades are also availble. The mobo also supported rebar so cards and games that can utilise it would benefit. I would recommend watching gamer's nexus benchmark test comparing pcie generations as well as other benchmarks with the ryzen 5 5500. The data will speak for itself.

@@camilo3626 that would be pointless because without mods your only option of frame gen is fsr3. Also in the video I already compared fsr 3 to fsr 2.1, both of which are native so what you're asking I already did. Fsr2.1 is better than fsr3 in terms of upscaling

@@TheSometimeAfter they're definitely leaving it up to modders and focusing on other projects. Apparently lukefz has released a newer paid version of the fsr3.1 mod that is even better than the free one on nexus mods. Ancient Gameplays did a video on it

Yes, U tried to build an all white aliexpress pc, but all major parts are local.

@@nikznp the original gpu was aliexpress. And like I said, title says "all white" not "all aliexpress white". The majority of the parts are still aliexpress; ram, cooler, motherboard, power supply, pwm/argb fan hub controller, wifi 6/bt dongle, and gpu if it had worked. Intro was made before I found out about the artifacting.

@@phoenixhenson3689 might want to contact ayaneo. It doesn't explicitly say if the m.2 slot is pcie 3.0 or 4.0. That said if you want to save money a pcie 3.0 nvme ssd will be the cheapest option and will still be plenty fast. Just make sure its tlc nand not qlc.

I'm currently using it as an external game drive and it's been working pretty well s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mrgB5q8 Shop during sales for best prices. Might even be cheaper locally. Prices for ssds have somewhat leveled out compared to big brand names

@@opahSkass dang that sucks mate. Good thing you've got warranty on it. There are things you can do to reduce coil whine, might want to have a google. As far as the artifacting in the meantime, you could try undervolting and then maybe decrease the clock speed by 100 mhz. What brand was it?

@@carelminnaar8454 I would have to agree. I suspect KingSpec is lying about the type of nand they're using. It's probably QLC judging by how quickly speed drops when it gets filled up. Better to go with XrayDisk Pro or Fanxiang SSD if you are looking for budget drives on aliexpress or just get something locally with usuable warranty as prices for ssd locally have come more in-line to Aliexpress prices due to their competitive pricing which is nice to see.
