    Good video. Recommendation: You were slightly out of focus because you were too close to the camera. Back it up a bit, and you'll be gucci!

    Yo need some advice, I got a 5500XT which seems like it's got a mining BIOS, it crashes under load, I tried flashing the stock ROM using latest AMDVBFlash tool, however getting a mismatch SSID, I'm guessing I could use the older ATI Flash tool to force it to flash?

      @@AlexHusTech this is the issue i had with the newer version amdvbflash. Mine was a pn mismatch though. Used the older version to circumvent the mismatch and it worked in my case

    Years ago I bought a mined RX570. The owner did not save the original bios and installed the wrong bios. It still ran but it won't play games. Took me a while to find the original bios online.

    • @88-bit-tech
      @88-bit-tech  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Definitely a bit of trial and error. Glad you got yours working too. I made the mistake of not saving my original bios before I started trying to permenantlly edit them but got lucky in my case cuz these other bios seemingly work better!

    How do you do all this with a cpu that's got integrated gpu??

    • @88-bit-tech
      @88-bit-tech  หลายเดือนก่อน

      You need to make sure in the bios the igpu is not disable in bios. Sometimes when a gpu is installed it will disable the igpu. Also make sure you plug your display cable into the motherboard. After you make sure it's enabled and display cable plugged into the right source you should be able enter the pc fine and then begin to troubleshoot the bricked gpu

    why the older version of ATI FLASH and not the new one?

    • @88-bit-tech
      @88-bit-tech  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      the new one didn't work because of a p/n mismatch. The older version allows you to flash regardless if the mismatch exists

      @@88-bit-tech ok thanks , i tried moded bios for rx 5600 xt for unlocked clocks , now its bricked , i buyed a cheap gpu because i dont have integrated gpus , now i have to wait , i hope your method works , the gpu fans spins so thats mean its identified right?

      @@88-bit-techwhen you say mismatch you want to say about SSID because i get that error when changing vbios to modded , hope i don't get that error when changing back to original vbios.

      @@MarianPV20 if you have the original vbios just flash back to that one. You should be fine. If the new bricked bios doesn't match you can use the method I just used to flash back to your original bios
      That sucks though. I would only recomment flashing vbios if you have an igpu or another gpu with a motherboard that has two x16 slots like I did.

    • @88-bit-tech

      If the card is no longer recognised I don't think it will work as it least has to show up to be able select the card to flash. You may need to try other methods like flashing via usb.

    Nice video
    Help I have a probl
    I've bought a asus strix rx580 2048sp
    No luck on drivers I've tried a lot of versions it always show code43 on device manager
    I have experience using cmd flashing roms and stuffs on mobile phones
    So I tried flashing the vbios
    There is no verified vbios rom for rx580 2048sp
    It's all unverified
    I've filter it to unverified,asus brand, rx580 2048sp
    It only shows 1
    Device ID and subsystem ID is the same that shows on GPUz
    Everything seems to be in order
    So I've flashed it after restart my gpu doesn't display anymore
    I have a back up of the previous bios rom
    So I tried using DOS method
    I used igpu and boot bootable usb but my gpu is not being detected with -i command it says adapter not found so It cannot be flashed.
    What can I do now??
