"Reel Wild Cinema" (1996) Sandra Bernhard interviews Robert Jacks (Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation)
Where is Sandra anyway?
The movie was crap but you can tell she really gave it her all proving how committed she could be
Worst Leatherface actor to date!
Went to high school with Robert Jacks.
what you have suffered my child.... if only I saw you one last time.....
What was he oile
A guilty pleasure. Absolutely bonkers film - which is what the TCM should be.
Renee was pretty before she ripped her face off
My favorite two films is Texas chainsaw massacre: the next generation and Case 39
BEST franchise 🍿🎥
Great actor, his portrayal of leatherface still scares out of me 🤣🤣🤣 R.I.P. 🙏♥️🕊️
His performance in the next generation is seriously underrated imo. Absolute insanity.
MEEEEEEAT BAAAG
He’s the best part and arguably, the only really good part, of that film.
Rippppppppppppp!!!!
Robert Jacks known for playing michael myers in texas chainsaw massacre the next generation die in 2001 at the age of 41
He is excelent in this movie!
I've been a huge fan for years and never heard of this song until today!
That ain't an easy CD to find!
... And interviewed by the miraculous & magical Sandy B. ... ❤️
Here is the Austin Chronicle article..... Don't make shit up y'all Robbie Jacks passed away at 8:30am, Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Brackenridge Hospital. He was 38. The cause of death was a heart attack. According to Jacks' longtime friend Fritz Blau, the pair had been watching television late Monday night when Jacks began complaining of nausea. Tuesday morning Jacks still felt unwell and friend Teresa Taylor called 911, at which point an ambulance took Jacks to Brackenridge Hospital. Initial blood and lab work drew a blank, said friend Mary Jane Warren, and Jacks was kept overnight for more testing. "The nurse told me it was nothing neurological and that it didn't look like it was a cardiac event," says Warren. "His lab work was good; they wanted to keep his stomach empty because he was thirsty and his back hurt -- they thought it might have something to do with his abdomen. They said his heart rate was slow, and they were giving him Tylenol for pain, but they said he was going to be okay." When Warren called the hospital to check on Jacks at 7:30, Wednesday morning, the prognosis was good, but another call an hour later brought news that Jacks had just expired from a heart attack.
He looks like he could be Pauly shores big brother
I can't believe he remembed the characters name
“ he’s dead“ no, he’s not! “we’ll” * snaps neck* “HES DEAD NOW!”
Thought I'd heard everything Debbie sung ...thanks man ..like it alot ..what era is it ?
This was for the soundtrack of Texas chainsaw massacre 4 starring Robbie jacks who she duets with here and this was recorded in Austin I believe at my friend Terri Lord's little studio. Sincola was Terri's band if anybody remembers them.
Omg if only I could have a drink and sit with both of them...I'd be so happy. Jacks and Bernhard are great <3
I just love how he embraces this lol
Alright alright alright...beeeeeyoo bang!
the only reason i rewatch that one is for Matthew
He's literally the only good part of that movie. lol
I love this movie, but I have problems with the masks. I don't like that it just looks like his own face, and not a mask. When he's putting his lipstick on, it looks cool, but the illusion of a human skin mask is ruined by the fact that it looks like he's just putting the lipstick on his own lips and not on a skin mask. I just don't buy that Leatherface, a severely mentally disabled cannibal, has the mask skills of a professional VFX industry artist.
Oh my he was an absolute gem! RIP dear Robbie
He yells meat bag people
I love that he fires up a cigarette in the interview. Robert Jacks also did a song with Debbie Harry on the soundtrack. He passed away from AIDS, and will be missed among horror fans like me. God bless.
He died from an abdominal aneurysm. Sad he died so young.
I'd always read he passed from an abdominal embolism, which also killed his father (they tend to be hereditary)
Robert Jacks was underrated, besides Gunnar Hansen, he was the best Leatherface, he captured the personality and did a wonderful job, though the film wasn't that great as a whole his Leatherface role was great, R.I.P my friend.
I agree. People knock him but he was definitely the closest to the original Leatherface and the serial killer Ed Gein. RIP Robert Jacks!
He was a lovely person, but come on, Leatherface in that movie was the least intimidating of the entire franchise, the producers were lost in the creative decisions
I have to disagree with you on that one, man. Robert Jacks definitely seemed like a wonderful human being, but the only good about that movie was Matthew McConaughey. For me, the best Leatherface besides Gunnar Hansen is R.A. Mihailoff.
@@ojmcclanahan689R.A. was good, but Andrew Bryniarski was the best Leatherface after Gunnar, and the two films he was in were the best in the franchise next to the original.
@@Retro_Man_76 I have to strongly disagree with that. I didn't like Andrew Bryniarski's portrayal of the character at all. He was way too pissed off and aggressive. He reminded me or Jason than Letherface. Letherface isn't the angry hulking monster Bryniarski portrayed him to be. Leatherface is a scared mentally retarded child trapped in a grown man's body who's just trying to round up the cattle so his family doesn't get mad at him. He literally doesn't know any better. He's just doing what he was raised to do. He's not angry at the people he kills. He doesn't even hate the people he kills. They're just meat to him. I liked TCM: The Beginning, but I didn't care for the 2003 remake. There isn't one hint at cannibalism in that movie and doing a Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie without cannibalism is like doing a Nightmare On Elm Street movie without dreams. The whole point of the family doing what they do is meat, so that remake completely missed the point of the entire thing.
You can tell that in spite of all the hate the movie got at the time, he still genuinely loves his turn as Vilmer. It payed off considering in the years since we had Texas Chainsaw 3D and Leatherface 2017, people have here lately been starting to develop an odd appreciation for TCM 4. Sure, it's only becoming a cult classic because Leatherface 2017 was as terrible as it was, but at least it's found an audience.
he goes BONKERS in that movie
BUUUUUH BEHHH
The thumbnail made me think he was casted as Joel Osteen in a movie or something
Teddy is so hot! Too bad Wendy Wessberg fell off the face of the earth

"- Get her Leather! Get her Leather! We've got some more fun today! [Finds a remote that works] - Vilmer! Get that bitch!"
At least she his humble enoug
This made me give a lot of respect for Renee. Most A list actresses at the beginning of their careers starred in low budget horror films. Like Jennifer Aniston starred in The leprechaun, but she's embarrassed by it. Renee surprisingly embraced and is thankful to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: T.N.G.
she was great in this movie. they were all good..
She was absolutely beyond gorgeously perfect in the Texas film. Stunning doesn't even do her justice
Do anything with me but in my opinion...he is excellent Patrick Bateman.
You see, he wanted to play the role himself, though he could've walked away. So i don't see any reason for him to be embarrassed or to ostracize the movie
Shes fast
why does everyone write that he is gay, it is not so!
Someone in other comments says they knew him and he was. How are you so sure he isn’t?
@@MrJimmyTide I don't believe in gossip, and why do you think that this is so?
He admitted he was gay back when this was released.
