DAVID BOWIE “TOO DIZZY” REACTION: BOWIE’S WORST SONG EVER!
มุมมอง 3078 วันที่ผ่านมา
In 1987, David Bowie released what is considered to be his worst album, “Never Let Me Down”. In all re-releases of this album, one song remained off the track listing: the contemporary ‘80s pop number “Too Dizzy”, a co-write between Bowie and multi-instrumentalist Erdal Kizilcay. In this video, we listen and try to figure out why “Too Dizzy” was disallowed and disavowed by its’ composer and sin...

MOST SKIPPABLE QUEEN SONGS

Queen were known as a singles/Greatest Hits band but the majority of their albums are actually quite enjoyable. But nobody's perfect. Let's go over their Greatest Misses.
and you are exactly the person they were trying to reach with their music . you can appreciate how its put together and the content. should do he'll never be an old man river next :)
They were a bunch of High School Teachers, or half of them were atleast, and they hid their faces to avoid backlash and more than likely losing their jobs from the scandle they happily created as they broke all decency to make some great music.
Aussiemandias is a great song.
The lyrics are the best part of TISM and you skipped them. Argghhhh. Look forward to hearing more from them on here.
@@cathyaldridge4550 This band deserves a feature length YT video but I’m definitely not the person to make it. Thanks for commenting.

why is it so hard to believe a woman wrote this? women can be sexual too🙀
Back in the day a lady wouldn’t brag about sexually assaulting and abusing men (aswell as fathers with a family) over a drill beat, but sure if this is what a lady is in 2024 I’ll stay in the past thanks🥱🤣🤣
@@MJFANDOMEXPOSURE I hate when you guys think intelligence can't be uncouth and vulgar like this. The message behind her music is really interesting. Can't think of a man that doesn't masturbate or watch porn behind closed doors, why be mad at the women of 2024. It's the men that can't control their lust, seek instant gratification, collectively pump billions of dollars into the industry annually, contribute to it in some way. For what it's worth, my take on the visual aspect of this piece- the man in the chair is us, thinking we are free, playing our tune, but in truth, we wear a mask that blinds us to what's really happening, the money game. Ren is the enforcer, calling the tune. He becomes aware of his role and rejects his part. By drawing eyes on the mask, he forces us to also become aware. The final section is him saying, "OK, so this is corrupt and immoral, and maybe you want to just burn it all down. But, you are also part of this game. So, if you want to burn it all down, then start with yourself because we're all guilty of playing our part in the money game.

Hi Mike welcome to the Reneiverse it is an amazing musical journey that changes lives,so enjoy❤ appreciate you brother❤
I forgot, when you react to Pt. 2 make sure to pick the OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO and not the LIVE version, which is only 1/3 of the entire song with no music. If you do the LIVE version first the Ren fans will have a collective stroke.
collective stroke 🤣🤣🤣
Great reaction!! This was Ren's first attempt at a truly complicated single shot video. It took 186 takes over 5 days to get perfect (although a lot of that was Ren expanding the song and changing the choreography as they proceeded). It was so cold that they had to warm the guitar player's (Ren's roommate at the time) hands between takes.
@@yonahgrossman7319 That’s insane! I was told in the comments for “Hi Ren” that one was a composite of four different takes. But that one has less choreography to it as well. Thanks.
@@mikewritesandsings After the prolonged MG shoot Ren decided he wouldn't make the same mistakes again, so now he makes sure the song he's filming is finished and rehearses until he can perform it in his sleep. He then usually does between 15-20 takes and chooses which he likes best. HI REN was unusual because Ren was tossed out of the location (not the only time, as you'll see) after only 4 takes, so he did some minor assemeblage to produce the final result. If he had not been ejected HI REN would almost certainly have all been edited from the same take. Live recordings and single shot videos are Ren trademarks, although his studio work, which he generally produces, mixes and masters himself (along with playing all the instruments), is some of the most sophisticated music you'll find. Keep up the great work! I'll be watching.
I call this version of Ren "psycho-teacher Ren" haha... he educates, he sings, he's acting like a psycho while doing it. You'll see this side of him in more of his videos 😆
😂
"The Pulp Fiction-ness of it all" 😂 yeah, something like that, haha
Great reaction!!! 💛💛💛
Ren doesn’t do music, he does performance art. We are conditioned to listen to copy-and-paste formulaic music with bridges and hooks confined to 4 bar loops. To understand Ren, it’s necessary to break out of the Disney art brain and enter the Picasso art brain.
@@darkmatter6714 I’ve noticed that a lot with modern pop music. We don’t need to worry about AI when the computer is already doing 90% of the work. Thanks for the comment

what kind of gibberish is this? FAIL
Wow, Zappa made a Joe Rogan podcast quote in 1980 when Joe was 13 years old? Most of those quotes are incorrect and gibberish. Lame video, lame channel.

@@grahamfraser2150 The person making the video is a fool, or read it somewhere and regurgitated it. It sounds like it's AI narrated. Perhaps he used AI to search for quotes and as typical with ChatGPT and Gemini it's usually wrong. NFTs also weren't a thing in.... 1968 (01:27)

I am a big fan of Frank and his music but stopped watching this video after the first few seconds when I was told that Frank was born in 1978 and died in 1979.
@@jeffsmeff5792 You would think Zappa fans would have a bit of a sense of humor about the guy. After all, he was an irreverent artist. In fairness, I did note that this was “altered content” on account of him not actually saying most of these things.

Never "got" his music, it does nothing for me. But he was surely an interesting and very intelligent man. For you to attribute such rubbish musings to him is criminal. Please remove this video.

You would think that for such an irreverent artist like Frank Zappa, his own fans would have some sense of humor about the man. Guess I was wrong. Thanks for commenting.
@@mikewritesandsings I am not a fan.
@@johnnynephrite6147 oh yeah, you said that… my bad
Maybe you should do a 2 part reaction where the first part is just the audio and the second part includes the visuals? To a certain extent, I agree with what you said about Hi Ren being a hard rewatch/listen. Ren's music tends to pull certain emotions from the listener so I have to be "in the right mood" for Hi Ren. I think that's probably why I like watching reactors reacting to it instead of just listening to it again on my own! As others have noted, Ren can't really be put into a specific genre and you should always expect the unexpected from him. 😅 The only unexpected part is that the lyrics will be clever and you will feel *something* from the song.
nice review unc
Even though I'm not a fan of Nick's, he had every right to protect himself and his property. This isn't some nice old lady if she's trying to go to a strangers home and start an argument with them after he was doxxed and sent unalive messages and swatted, plus if his family is inside then obviously people are going to be protective. The bias that people have because they don't like Nick is messing with their judgment about this situation because if it happened to someone else, then people would be more sympathetic to the person who was doxxed and had this lady show up to their home.
@@rachaelvaughan1017 If she “wanted to start an argument” then he should have told her to leave or he would call the police. Instead, he immediately escalated to force. Or better yet, don’t answer the door and wait for her to leave. Thanks for commenting.
@@mikewritesandsings you know, the only one looking this are fuentes fanboys. and ALL of them have NO CLUE about the law. going to someones house, even WITH a camera, DONT count as trespassing. he does NOT have the right to mace her or to stealing her property but this goons here dont get it, no matter what you or i wrote.
Not a Fuentes "fan boy." I've never watched his videos nor have i followed him, I've laughed at clips of him from others channels, but no, I don't take him seriously, and I'm a woman. If it were down here in the south, then yeah, you'd probably get shot, and by the ladies' story she wasn't the only person around because there was another lady that mentioned that it was Fuentes house so he probably already had several people outside his home after getting doxxed and harassed with unalive threats (he has family that he lives with, think about it from their perspective and they might not even agree with his views).
