HELP!!!!! I have a PP20VA46. The deck is 46" and the deck engagement lever is in the disengaged location, however when I start the mower the blades are engaged. I can't get the engagement lever to move out of the disengage position. Replaced the pulley brake on the right side of deck, spindle assembly, and deck belt, the return spring is nowhere to be found. Please advise!

Can you help me? I have a poulan pro model:pp20va46 bought in11/2018, on 3rd battery. Problem is that it won't start, try to start and I hear a click from the new solenoid, starter won't do nothing- it also is new. Battery is fully charged, if the fuse was bad would it cause this issue?

You can lower the wheels on the deck it helps with going over little bumps in the yard I lowered mine!

What if my gas leaks from tank would it be same issue

I just got a used one. Leaking seals. My questions for you is when its in neutral and you push it. Is it normal for the transmission to make noise? Does mine transmisson need to have grease added? Or is noise normal

So, what about front tires? I'm about to buy some and I've found your video. Mine are just bald and my mower has poor traction during maximum turning on grass. Whould you recomend those, or should I just buy normal tires?

Hey, I have the 2018 PP19-A42. You got a nice mower. Ive done some small mods to mine also. To quite the deck down, I've put hose washers on all the contact points to stop the squeaking I hear when mowing my lawn ( most of the yard is uneven ). That has helped alot also placed/ wrapped electrical tape where the hood contacts the front frame and added anti scalp wheels on the rear of the deck. As you stated valve cover started to leak, so I purchased a gasket and adjusted valves... purrs like a kitten as for the CVT trans, I blow mine off after every use and remove battery tray once a year and give it a good cleaning. No issues.

would,ve kept the turf tires on there. how do you keep the deck clean? I use the gator type mulching blades, they work great and were more heavy duty than the stock. Every time i take the deck off, I have to claw out 20lbs of caked on debris in and around the deck.

Thank you very much! I've been having fuel smell and an extended crank for a few months. Today I finally decided to spend the time to get it solved. When I moved the power steering reservoir out of the way I saw signs that fuel had been leaking there. I turned the key on to activate the fuel pump, and sure enough, that part got wet with fuel. Your video was very helpful to figure out how to fix it, it saved me a bunch of time and headache!

Is that the same o ring that is used on the fuel injector?

Is there any type of transmission fluid or grease to add or replace in these? I always do on my hydros even if they don't have a drain. I do have some type of oil or grease slowly seeping out the axle /housing ends. Any info on this drive system even if they say no service? Any info appreciated, not much on the internet on these about the transmission making it to not have problems.

I just smashed the thing out i was so mad but my problem was my grand prix gt 06 they were wired from that stereo mold underneath the shifter and to the centre onsole which is about 8x8x6 and the lighters were connected to eachother and run through.....if i had that tool man....dam

Having the exact same issue with my express van.. out of nowhere started sounding like a scrap truck getting dragged down a set of railroad tracks. Thought the motor was cashed, sounded exactly like your problem.

Our van has had this leak for three years. Is it dangerous or just a nuisance.?

FYI to all the nay sayers here, it's been 3 years the mower Runs Perfectly still no issues with CVT Transmission WHAT SO EVER. Maintenance on any lawn tractor is a must ,neglect is suicide. I've done 3 oil changes and have 200 hours on it. I've ran thru 4 sets of blades. Still running on stock belts. I recently bought a dust cover for the CVT I will install it soon. If the forward and reverse gets hard to shift, take out the battery and case, you will see a groove that the shifter moves back and forth in on top of the transmission, make sure there isn't any dirt or debris in the groove hindering the shifting action.

Bought a Poulan riding mower in 2018. It was $1100.00 plus at Home Depot. Took it home and had to take it back to Home Depot in 24 hrs. There was a problem with it? I can't remember what it was. My husband returned it and they gave him another brand new one. This mower has only been used like under 20 times during each year. We cleaned it very well and it always looked brand new. About two weeks ago my husband told me that the pedal or lever that makes the mower go in reverse would stick. He said that we needed to get it to a shop and get it fixed. I told him before that I would not pay over $300.00 to have it fixed because I felt that the mower was never abused and that three hundred dollars was 1/4 the cost of the mower. The year I bought this, Home Depot had Poulan riding mowers all over the front of the store and inside. I commented to him last spring that there wasn't a single one out front or inside. I asked a sales person why? and he said Home Depot is no longer carrying that line. I said "really!". My husband called Poulan and talked to a rep from the company to see if that part was under warranty. The sales rep gave us five different names of repair shops in our county that fix Poulan mowers. Two places we called were like "we don't repair them" and one guy didn't really want to be bothered. The third guy said bring it in and we require a $50.00 deposit. We drop it off and the guy calls us and says that the pedal works when the mower is cold but that the problem is with the Transmission and it was not covered under warranty and it would cost me $800 for the part and $300 for labor! He even said the mower looks brand new. Do the math. That quote is the cost of the mower. This guy said that he doesn't like dealing with warranties with that company because they make a habit of not getting paid by them. I am beyond furious and I told my husband that "that is it! I'm not throwing away anymore money on another riding mower!" I told him I'll buy 8 hand mowers for 159.00 each if I have to and mow 1/4 of my two acres by hand everyday before I throw away money! My husband's health is not good and bought this for him. I already been mowing 1/3 of the property by hand while he was on the riding mower. America make better freaking products and back up your products. No excuse for this! Poulan is no longer making riding mowers or the company may have shut down? Just found out my sister-in-law bought my brother one and had to take it back also! BS!

Turn your phone sideways when filming. I want one but their website scares me to death. Reviews show all kinds of problems with getting them repaired, transmission problems, plastic parts, problems within the first year of ownership. I think I am going to go with a Troy-Bilt.
