    I have the exact same drone and I’m pretty good at it but this is a awesome review thanks for going over headless and I didn’t know that if you press both of the top buttons, it works as a kill switch! Also, I get it pretty high up in the sky and I take pretty nice pics And videos!😊

    Excellent video Linden. One problem with my drone which is a HS11OD that I just took out of the box and will only run for 5 seconds and then shuts off. AT first it ran normal. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

    I realize this is an older video, but I watched a few others, on this exact same drone, and this has got to be the absolute best for beginners like myself for this model drone! Everything explained in very easy to understand instructions, backed up with video. Not as confusing after understand how it works and what it can and can't do. I have to say for what it cost, it still amazes me that it does so many things I wanted a drone for. Thanks very much! Thumbs Up!

    no sirven ya que si su helice al momento de caer se llega a atorar con algo, se fuerza y se quema una pieza interna, lo cual es muy diminuta y asi ya no vuelve a servir, mas, no trae ningun sensor que al momento de atorarse la helice esta se bloquee y deje de girar, es por eso que esa pieza se quema en fraccion de segundo, por lo cual ese dron no sirve ni para un novato

    Great video, I have been in the hobby for about 7 years now and have 14 drones. My most expensive drone was around $1000. The cheapest was $29. To be honest, I have more fun with the cheaper ones. With the expensive drones you are always worried about crashing it, parts are very expensive, especially the cameras. My favorite drone, and the one I fly the most is the MJX Bugs 2 gps drone. It is rock solid!! and shoots great 1080p video. You can find this drone for a little over $100. I also really like the MJX Bugs3, very, very fast. It has no auto hover or any other flying aids but, if you have a little flying experience, the Bugs 3 is a blast. You can get one for about $100. To sum up, you don't have to spend a lot of money to have a lot of fun in this hobby

    Hello, I will say here at the outset of my comment, everything is indeed a complement to you. So, here we go. You teach, speak and educate your viewers as well as my favorite guitarist, Jeff Beck, you speak and hold attention as well as Sir. David Suchet, I really love him as well!!!! This has been the very best I have ever seen on TH-cam!!!!!!!!!!! WOW, Thank you my friend!!!!!!!!!!!

      @LindenStead1844MbdTuB 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Charles, many thanks for your very kind comments. I have spent a good deal of my life, before retirement, writing copy, and presenting lectures, to both the general public and to industry on a variety of subjects but I have always believed that if you are going to present a video to the public then it has to be, to a certain extend, aimed at the lowest common denominator. I realise that this means that people who know something about the subject maybe get bored but they can skip over the "boring" bits and get to the more important parts. For those who know very little about the subject then I always hope that how I present it gives them an in-depth knowledge starting at "A" and going right through to "Z" but in a very logical order that is easy to follow and each part is following on from the previous part! Again, many thanks for you comments and I hope what I presented helped you! By the way, I am learning the guitar and how Jeff Beck does what he does I am only just now getting to grips with! Jeff is one of my favourites but Eric C has to be the best!!!

    Wonderful instruction video, one question : Is it possible to tilt the body of the drone to an angle so that it can focus on things on the ground from an altitude. I see that the drone, once it reaches a height, it doesn't capture anything on the ground, instead the camera captures whatever is visible at that level, like tree tops instead of people standing at the foot of the tree.

    Thanks Linden. Great end to end review and explanations. Nice introduction to the terminology and functions for a complete drone novice like me. Mine arrived today and contrary to advice, I managed to fly it around the house on low speed without hitting anything. I found attitude hold really quite stable although the trim was variable, usually biased to the last maneuver made. For $65 it was hard to ignore and seems well worth the money. Great start for a beginner like myself. The only thing I can't work out is why my STATUS light continues to flash even after pairing/activating the controller and calibrating the gyros. All other lights and functions seem to work fin and the drone flies okay but that STATUS light continues flashing for some reason.

      Hi Richard, hope you find the video of help to you. I've tried to cover most things but the one thing I didn't go into any great detail on was controlling the drone with a smart phone. I personally don't like this method of control as sometimes finger contact with the phone screen can be broken and not work and if that happens who knows what will happen to the drone?? I know that some people like this method but I don't. I don't know if there is a problem with the conductivity in my skin but I often lose control of the screen on my iPhone or iPad for this very reason so that is why I play safe and use the transmitter to control the drone. Have a happy New Year!

    is there a way to angle the camera down a bit? I'm thinking of removing it, putting a shim under the front and taping the camera around the fuselage that way I can see the ground a bit better

    • @LindenStead1844MbdTuB
      @LindenStead1844MbdTuB 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Joe, Sorry to be so long in replying but Christmas got in the way! I would not remove the camera and try to shim it as (1) the camera is held onto the drone body by two lugs at the back of the camera so taking it off to shim it will render those lugs redundant but, more importantly, (2) the electrical contacts between the camera and the drone body are arranged such that if you shim the camera that contact will be broken and hence you will lose the control of the camera. Hope that helps, happy new year!

    Does the app only work if the drone battery is full? Because mine only shows a red loading circle

    • @LindenStead1844MbdTuB
      @LindenStead1844MbdTuB 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Nicole; I have found that the app works fine whatever the battery charge is unless it is really low! If I were you I would buy a test meter (these are very cheap on Ebay and I have had one for years) and this lets you test the voltage on your batteries. If your batteries are low then, yes, your HS110 might not work. You have to check everything before you fly and this includes checking all of the batteries and if they are all at full charge!!!

      Hi Gillian, sorry not to have replied sooner but Christmas kinda got in the way!! Hope you learn a lot from the video and that it helps you to understand what the drone is doing and why! With drone flying, as with any other RC product, understanding the controls and what they do is vital to success! The golden rule is: crawl before you walk and walk before you run!
