@@crystaljustlivin5697 happy new year, hope all is well
Have you tried the 23Zero on the Teton XXL cot. Looks like a better fit or not hanging over the edges on the Teton Universal Cot.
@@bravofoxtrot5811 its pretty narrow for the xxl
Just received my Kakadu 1P Sundowner Swag unboxed it and so far like the look and build quality of it. I'm glad someone is doing a review of Kakadu products Thanks
@@bravofoxtrot5811 nice, i do like the sundowner, been thinking of getting that one
@ this is my first swag. Prior to this was using a Litefighter military tent on a cot with a memory foam mattress and very confined. I let the mattress sit for 24 hours can't wait to get home today and test it out. Spacious
@ yes, message back and let me know what you think. I like the light that goes in it too
I finally got one of these tents. Purty dang cool!

I have used this setup for the past two years. The tent itself is not greaf quality, but serviceable for the price you pay. I cannot emphasize enough how good it is to be off the ground when the rain comes. None of your things get wet. The fact that the cot is extremely comfortable is also a reason to buy. I've also used the cot in the house for a month and its always a good night's sleep. It's the size of a twin me mattress. The flexibility and utility of this setup makes it worth it. I also have the matching Teton roll up pad that fits the cot, and it's great quality. The only complaint I have is that the Vista 1 tent feels a bit cheap compared to other tents I own, like my Kelty Late Start.
@@joeweaver9913 yes, cant get much better than elevated camping, im with you about the Vista 1 being cheaper quality
Now that’s how you season a canvas tent. 🏕️

so cool, that is the swag I normally use, funny coincidence you have the same gear on the other side of the planet. I have 1100 version and it is brilliant. I have had it for about 5 years I think and it is still as good as the day I bought it. I was almost expecting you to tell me your hammock from from DD Hammocks 😛 btw, 115F is crazy, especially with humidity! Great video, thanks for sharing ✌🏻
@@outandabout_oz yes indeed, I am a sub of your channel and been enjoying your vids
G'day from down under 🙂 Great to see swags becoming more a thing in the US. They're such a great way to camp if you have your truck handy. I also did a review of the San Hima swag a couple of months back and agree with all the great points you made, especially about the comfort, that mattress is a a cracker. But I also had a few reservations with it or at least downsides compared to my other swag, but all in all, it is a great bit of gear. Glad the TH-cam world flagged your video on to me, just subscribed and keen to check out your channel. Hope Texas is treating you well and you had a great Christmas 🇺🇸🇦🇺✌🏻
Great job showing off setting everything up! I just got the tent. Was $385 shipped including the footprint. Purchased directly from Big Agnes while on sale in late November 2024. REI was pretty close to that price as well when on sale. Plan to use for MoTo camping. Like the vestibule for space, but won’t put the bike inside. Appreciate your time you put into this review.

Bought this tent and it arrived yesterday. Set up in the yard, even backed my dual sport motorcycle under cover. The vestibule area is great and has several different configurations. Good video. I was looking at the tent on Amazon, but this video helped convince me to purchase. Obviously a large pack size, so car camping or across the seat on a larger motorcycle. Quick setup and takedown also.
@@randyholcombe4234 yes indeed, great tent, enjoy🎄
I picked this tent up on Amazon because of this video too! Only I got the tan colored one. Right now it's 50% off ($99). Can't wait to take this baby camping. I,m even considering adding a hot tent vent for the vestibule

I’m looking at this exact setup. I already have the Kodiak Canvas 12x12 with the 8x8 awning and a Winnerwell Nomad stove for deer camp and I love it. The Kodiak is great for extended stay camping with buddies but I wanted something I could set up quickly and easily by myself and take it backpacking. Thank you for the review.

LOL omgs, I can't imagine trying to 'Camp' in any of our pastures! Egads, that'd be a disaster with a CAPITAL 'D!' You get credit/respect for it my good Man! :-) One trick I've learned regarding hammock/shelters tied to trees? Take a piece of plastic (I cut mine out of emptied milk jugs), roughly 4" in diameter, then drill a hole in the center the same size as your rope (If using a sling/strap, you'll have to use a box-cutter to make the rectangular opening I suppose?), then make one cut from the circle, straight down to the bottom of the circular piece of plastic. I then make the shelter/hammock, and if the weathers going to be rainy, attach (That straight cut lets you attach the circular plastic disc) about 1" from the spot where the rope/strap attaches to your shelter/hammock. That plastic works wonders to divert water (That will collect, then gravity-feeds down the line(s) INTO your shelter/hammock), and I've discovered that helps keep stuff 'Inside' dry. tldr, sorry. Nice video, and a grateful 'Thank you!' for sharing it and your perspectives!

4-in-1 camping 🏕️ blanket ; Inlike it 👍🏼⛺️🔥
pretty handy
Thank you for the review noticed enough that this tent looks to be a very impractical to be a moto camping tent. More motoglamping. Too bulky for one. And almost 13 lbs your standard 3 person tent is under 5lbs. And it would take up most of a saddle bag. Or the room of a sleeping bag if you put it across the seat or as a tail bag. Most people remove the poles so the tent can pack smaller. Saves time? What's few minutes. Tents usually take a max of 5 minutes to set up. You spend more time clearing the area of debris than setting it most tents. Cool concept if ur one of these people that don't mind strapping 65 lbs of gear to their 600+ lbs bike
yeah its not for every bike trip. I used it on a 300 mile trip on my Tuareg. not something ill take on the bdr
Apakah di Indonesia tdk ada
not sure
Dimana saya bisa mendapatkan ya, membeli
there is a link in the description box
To bulky in my opinion
And heavy. 12lbs is nuts. I guess some people don't care about unnecessary weight.
Not for everyone
I'm Aussie and never heard of the Kakadu products 😂 I got the Oztrail fast frame 3p. It's exactly the same but oztrail and i love it. Had the Coleman 3p swagger tent but lost it in the floods last year. I prefer the oztrail due to the ventilation. My oztrail has been in torrential rain and not a drop inside

I'm 100% in support of any Company that builds quality/durable products, but even more importantly, actually backs them up (ie, 'Quality Control/Customer Service'). If I spend x-amount of $$$ on something, I expect to get that monies worth out of it. Thank you for making and sharing this video.
