Yes, it is Nokomimi, but Kemonomimi is the broad term for - generally - furry animal ears, so it is not incorrect. I speak Japanese, so I knew what it meant before I put the term in the thumbnail. 😀❤

Please let me ask a question, how to determine the elliptical loop in the ear, i can determine the diagonal but what is its upper and lower radius?
Hi, Weloveanime! Thank you for watching my video. I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I understand exactly which loop in the ear you're referring to. Although there are different shapes and sizes for each part of the ear, the basic structure is the same for everyone. The helix can be thicker or thinner depending on the person, or the antihelix can be more visible from the front in some people than others. As far as I know there are no hard and fast rules and I wouldn't worry about it. If you are referring to the antihelix, I would recommend looking at reference pictures to familiarise yourself with the general structure of the ear and where the antihelix starts and ends. This will give you an idea of how to draw the curve. I'm planning a tutorial on the structure of eyes, noses, mouths and ears in the future, so maybe that will help. Sorry if my answer wasn't helpful!
@@LineShapeForm sorry, I mean the circle containing the cross of the side plane, my english is not good, sr about that!
@@Weloveanime7494 Ah, okay! 😆 No need to apologize! It's hard to explain things with just words. For realistic heads, the side circle is about two-thirds the size of the big circle you draw for the head (cranium) in the beginning. This means that when you divide the height of the first big circle (cranium) into 6 units, the side circle is about 4 units in height and width. But how much you cut off from the cranium depends on the width of the head you want to draw, so I would suggest adjusting it as you go to fit the head you are drawing. The side circle is very hard to get right, and I personally don't think it needs to be 100% accurate as long as it doesn't look completely wrong. I hope this answers your question! 😄
@@LineShapeForm I'm trying it out, it's quite difficult at first, but I believe I can do it, thanks for your detailed explanations, I'm glad there are Vietnamese subtitles and many other subtitles, it helps us get closer to art. +1 Respect!
@@Weloveanime7494 That's great! You can do it! I still have to add subtitles to a lot of my videos - especially the older ones that only have written explanations and not narrated ones - but I will! The subtitles probably aren't that good since they are automatically generated, but better than nothing, I guess. It's nice to reach people from around the world this way! ❤

In response to a question from my last video about whether the same framework can be used to draw a male head, I decided to create a demonstration. I've included two different styles of heads to show how easily you can adapt the Loomis head for various artistic styles. I hope you find this helpful!
Thank you for all the info you present to your viewer

Hi marierouhana! You're welcome and thank you for your frequent comments! It gave me an energy boost, so I really appreciate it ❤ I'm glad you found the video useful 🥰
What is the difference between male and female heads? I think this technique can be done on a man's head😅
Hi there! You can use the same method to draw a male head, a teenager or a child. The basic technique of mapping out the head is the same, although teenagers or children have different facial proportions. Just change the facial features a little when you draw the details. It depends on what kind of male head you are drawing, but if you want it to look masculine, make the face a little wider and the facial structure a little more angular rather than soft and round. If you were drawing a male and female head side by side, you would use a slightly larger circle/sphere for the male head to start with, although in manga/anime this depends on the character design and style. In real life, the difference is that the male skull is usually slightly larger than the female. The shape of the eye sockets and the forehead are slightly different, and the male head can have a wider jaw. If you want to dive a little deeper into the subject, you might want to watch my very first video "Loomis Method - Proportions of the Head Explained - Front View". You can find the link in the description box. Hope this answers your question! :o)
