My fiancé’s car is having this issue. We bought a whole new pedal because the car is old. He recently got into a car accident a month ago; he was rear ended. So with him pressing the brakes made it go out 😩 thank you.

You can get plastic razor blades now . I use them and spray the decal with goo gone adhesive remover spray . Then completely wipe the area with a warm water , squeezed out wash cloth / microfiber towel . Let dry and then apply the new decal .

So, This Morning the hubs comes all the way home and disconnected the battery and was going to take to repair shop when they opened. I found your video and wala! So I told him to put some folded up paper and then when he gets off work and the parts store is open he can pick up the $7 part!!! Instead of a huge repair bill!!!! lol, thank you for your video all this time later!!!!

Excellent video!! Your video saved me some serious money. The replacement part is called a brake pedal bushing or a brake pedal stop pad in case anyone's wondering (I'm a woman, so I like to write down the name of any auto part that I have to pick up myself). I bought the universal kit for $6.50 at Advance Auto Parts and it took me less than 2 minutes to install it. Thank you, kind sir, and thank you, TH-cam. TH-cam is a frickin' godsend!!!!!
