The Presentatiohn of the handwritten holy Quran by one of your direct ancestors to NCAC has reset and rewritten the history of The Gambia for ever. The ball is in the hands of Hassoum Ceesay to culminate your efforts and to gather similar artefacts that would enhance the richness of Gambia cultural heritage.

May we benefit from the blessings of Mam Ousainou Mariam Demba who was a saintly man worth his salt

Doing a research on this great man Mam Masamba Thiam was humbling and a chronology of Mam massamba could be found in the World Historial Dictionary way back in the 15th century, He was a Cheiff from Syrria and way ahead of his generation.. I use to pride myself with the attribution 'ndow borom ndukuman', not anymore it is Cham borom Halwar
