“When your 19” Mike Katz, Bruce Kulick, Chris Adams
มุมมอง 513 ปีที่แล้ว
Before KKB, Mike and Bruce played in many local bands and recorded a bunch of Mike’s original material. Here is an early song recorded at Sudden Rush Music, with the fabulous Chris Adams on drums. Though more jazzy and commercial than the KKB CD, you can here some of the influences. Thanks to Chris for the pictures. Also in the pictures is the late Michael Berman, a singer songwriter/keyboardis...

HUSTLE PERFORMANCE AT DANCESPORT 5-28-09 MICHAEL - DAPHNE - IAN - GINA
This is awesome good. And that Beatles movemovemove.. Damn Groovey. Both a bridge and chorus too. A lot packed in. Well mixed too. Upbeat and fun and that moveeeeeeee hook. 3 thumbs up bro.
Hughie Burns on guitars and Tony Hyman on keys
That's definitely Simon Phillips
That’s not Tony on drums.
BEST LIVE VERSION!!!…Okay
WOW! So sad that Jack did so much mediocre pop music the he was clearly much more interesting when he played with his peers.
Huh? Jack did pop music? Don't you mean that Eric Clapton did mediocre pop music? I don't think Jack did any pop music.
My hero and inspiration. Was so impressed by his style I bought a bass like his (1964 Gibson EB-3) and tried to emulate him (poorly, but was fun jamming to his albums as a backup lead bass player).
Saw Jack with Lifetime a few times in 71. The only word you can use is incredible and with Tony Williams ,John McLaughlin and Larry on keys I m so glad i didnt miss it
Thank you
Did you guys jam tonight? Was fun listening ...❤
Yes…..jamming at Johnny Q’s in West Palm
that's not the bruce gary from the knack on drums ...it's Tony Williams
No, it's Simon Phillips!
I don't think that's Tony Williams, either.
Its been over 43 years since I've seen these guys play amazing.
Saw him in Tony Williams Lifetime at Birmingham Town Hall mid 70s. Absolutely the greatest band I've ever seen.. Have the relevant albums too. So impressed that little me who can't play a note could appreciate such giants..
👍🏾
Could this be Gary Moore on guitar?
Noooooo!
Jack, the Trailblazer. His ,array of all Musicians used and knew is alone Amazing. Kinda, think that He got undershadowed by Clapton's pop work .In My opinion He was always the One. Seen Him w/ Cream, as a Young Drummer . He blew it away and My mind to this day. Now ,all this material is coming to light much more for some reason .What an immense Talent.....
Clapton sold out.
Extraordinary bassplayer🙏
This track is called Wildlife, not Spirit.
No. It's called "Spirit". But it also appeared in a slightly different form as that. Jack always introduced it as 'Spirit'.
At the end of this video Jack says “ Thank you, that was Spirit”
How many House tunes have got that Bass riff in it..and why not!..
?
The opening and closing theme is from the track titled WILDLIFE which is from THE NEW TONY WILLIAMS LIFETME album titled BELIEVE IT
Yes indeed!
Does that picture belong? The Mr Jack I saw with this lineup was, er, older. The gig at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz was my #1 of all, and it included him storming off the stage ..
what's the story?
Fake
I love the sound that bass makes. Great playing guys!
how is this not a meme yet
Good question
Jack Bruce on Dan Armstrong Plexi glass Bass
Jack rules he broke the rules in everything he did he is truly the king of Base whether it be Rock Fusion whatever he rules
And one of the great voices of rockdom.
*Bass*
only rule shut Up and just play
King of baize is Ronnie O'Sullivan.
@@todd3205 absolutely!
What kind of source did you use under the table to set the gamma scout off :p I've tried this with multiple phones with no success so I believe it's a hoax people are making but if you know what phones work if they truly do I'd like to know so I can try it lol
not a hoax, interference by non ionizing radiation that this idiot thought was real
Most likely em interference and no source at all!!! My gamma scout goes crazy in high electric fields. Defo no ionising radiation from the phone tho (obviously lol)
Wow. The drummer ain't bad either!!
Tony Williams is the drummer of course, it's his band. And I suspect, his tune
BOGUS. 7 y.o. video; 2 possible "before" shots - none of them are close ups, except one. Had to watch this p.o.s. 3 times to find 1 before/after pic of lips
Nice jamming!!!
This is also probably one of the earliest accounts of jack playing fretless...
He started on double bass and cello CF Things We Like from '68 but know what you mean.
Wow!!;)
There was an earlier (BBC Television Theatre - 6th June 1975) version with: Jack Bruce / Mick Taylor / Carla Bley / Ronnie Leahy & Bruce Gary. This might be confusing some people. That has also been released. But this version (also BBC) is from 14th April 1977 and features: Jack Bruce / Hughie Burns / Tony Hymas / Simon Phillips.
That's a great version? I think better, so is this just an amazing song/piece...i have not ever heard/know of anyone doing this! song period ...I
Where does this track originate from, it's great!
Tony Hymas on keys, not Ronnie Leahy.
Old Grey Whistle Test 1977. The line-up on this: Jack Bruce on bass, vocals and piano. Tony Hymas on keys, Hughie Burns on guitar and Simon Phillips on drums. The same band on "How's Tricks" and "Jet Set Jewel" :)
Is there video of this band?
Thank you so much for the information ❤
Nice job. The only thing missing from the Cream reunion concerts was Jack's EB-3. That thing made Cream's sound IMO.
Awsome great cover
mi piacete e io sono un grande estimatore dei cream...cavolo essendo bassista posso solo notare la bravura di quel mostro del rock n roll che cè al basso :D
great jam, dudes!
nice!!!!!
Robert - My drummer uses YAMAHA STAGE CUSTOM Drums.....He said he swears by them!
niccceee!!! what kits ur drummer using?
Thanks! The song is by Celia Cruz and is called El Negro Bembon from the "On Fire" CD
