Hi trmac72911, I have that same issue with my 2019 Forte S. I thought it was normal. Unfortunately I found your video too late as the car is in the dealership for other issues such as; when I'm turning at less than 5 miles an hour to park at a parking area, the car makes a clicking noise as I steer to park; and when the car is parked, and I shift into drive, I move about 5 to 10 feet the car makes a knock type of noise. Not sure if you've ran into that issue.

having the same problem with 2021 Kia sorento X-Line and service guy says that fine that it normal noise and I disagree

Same here On my 2020 Forte. Thanks so much for posting it. Hope that helps at the dealership with warranty. If they fix it, I might trade it in. Had a 2015 Kia Sportage before and my feeling is, the quality is going down. Or maybe it’s just when you buy a budget car…

Same issue here. I bought my 2021 Kia Forte GT back in May and it was about 40 degrees outside. The FIRST time I drive it and turn into the garage, it makes this noise......only had 40 miles! Now it's December and 30 degrees outside and it sounds horrible again like this, with 10,000 miles. Funny enough, it didn't do this all summer. I love the car but am really disappointed that this is STILL an issue since the first 2019 models. Sucks but will probably sell the car during the spring, if it's value holds.

It's the little fixed windows. The seals have air leaks. I bout rubber car seals on Amazon and put it on the inside of the bottom of the window and outside and now it's gone

Having this exact problem with my 2020 sorento. Taking it in monday. I can tell it's the C-MDPS Small Bearing noise from reading the TSB document. The document links you to a video with this exact same noise. Hope it doesn't take a week and a half when they can just replace the bearing.

Thank you it just started making this noise around 23,000 miles

When your roof is full glass and multiple seams, it can’t isolate the noise like a normal room with sheet metal, insulation and the headliner. If it was a smaller sunroof, wouldn’t be bad, but the full glass is just too much to insulate. Worth the trade off of having all these nice things for 35k

I have had the car since Dec 2020, NO WIND NOISE AT ALL! Limited 1.6T Just keep it under 140MPH!

Just turn on the sounds of nature to block it out

I have the same car in Mexico and I have the same problem, the dealer tells me that it is a normal sound but now with your video I am going to show that it is a fault that they have to fix, thank you very much.

Well, you're also putting unnecessary stress on the steering column by turning the wheel while you're parked and not moving.
