I've made a lot of videos in my time on many different channels. I've watched thousands upon thousands of them...and I've got to say this might actually be the best video I've seen for a Board Game "how to". To know it's the official channel as well just makes it better

This was a nice overview of how the game flows, but there are definitely a lot of details left out. Good starting point though. I now see the description says overview but since the title was "how to play" I expected it to be more thorough. I just want to point out that when you described ability trigger order you said "top to bottom, left to right". But that would be going down each column starting with the left one, not going through each row starting at the top one. That would be "left to right, top to bottom". The rulebook describes it as "in order, row by row, left to right, starting from the top left" which is an even better very clear way to describe it. Thanks for the well made overview.

Hi Conor. I have got a problem. I have the game and all expansions plus sleeves including the matching sleeves. I always keep everything in one box. Is there any way this can be achieved as this is not the big box? I love the plastic container that holds the tiles, but it seems like removing it might be the only way.

When do you place the leaf tokens on the fauna board? At the end it says they score points from leaf tokens placed there, but it doesn't say when they get put there.

This game, I don't even know what to say. We are in such a golden age of board gaming. It's just incredible. Not overly complex but with so many possibilities. Played this for the first time the other day and thought I was absolutely destroying my opponent, then I lost by 40. Never had so much fun getting beaten!

Am I the only one that disagrees with the slot orientation? Doesn't it make more sense to have all of the symbols pointing towards eachother so you can tell from any side what piece should be in each section instead of this odd perspective based choice?

I also thought that the curved slots were stupid initially, but they will fit, tightly. Just use a small hammer or something hard to gently tap the pieces into place. From the wise words of Happy Gilmore, ""Just tap it in. Just tap it in. Give it a little tappy. Tap Tap Taparoo.”

1:02 turns out that was helluva lie

it kinda works, but just like the rest i had a lot of trouble due to how it was made. here is a technique that made it easier for me without cutting: leave the main board flat and dont bend it yet. wobble one of the main boards noses into one of the holes of one end piece, same for the other 2 noses. but be careful there are 2 sets of end pieces in terms of printing; a set has 1 end piece with 1 circle and 1 end piece with 2 circles. even better if you can put the noses into the holes they are going in anyway. that way you can widen the holes of the end pieces. do the same for all the middle pieces, especially where you put em into the bottom. for the corrects dividers in terms of printing check the video. now just bend the main board and try putting it together. i started with the middle bottom nose and yeah it worked way better. in addition dont put too much pressure on it. that way you will slip and break something. first make sure to hold the tiles in a way that suits you before applying pressure.

and of course half my tabs have broken off. guess ill just 3d print something instead. I knew buying the insert was a mistake

No trouble assembling, just fairly stiff, firm but gentle pressure, like the man said. I did have to use a razor knife to "punch" the pieces out. There was one place where the laser hadn't cut all the way through. I used the razor knife to complete that cut as well.

Wowser! That was insane. I've put together dozens of wooden inserts over the years and never once have I broken a piece during construction. I lost two tabs and had to go dig out the wood glue and rubber bands. And who cut curved slots for straight tabs? I get the thing curls but the tabs don't!

These just are not cut right. the holes are to small. I had to file down a tab for it to fit and another cracked when pushing. The video might be a newly cut one but the ones we got just do not ft without a lot of work and cracking.
