Great interview the one thing I have never understood is that Radio London (pirate) as Tony says was the best station that ever existed and yet to my knowledge no one has ever recreated big L radio Caroline has it's flashback station but no radio london equivalent what a missed opportunity
To this day, I can’t see Roger without also seeing that charming “Rogerina” smile in I want to Break Free.
Absolutely love this man. Great interview.
so great... thanks for sharing
This is just absolutely great to watch. Roger's description of the BBC in the 70s was spot on and hilarious too. Miming....and Jim unable to play his instrument. Quite bizarre. The BBC was pretty pathetic then when it came to broadcasting pop music. They had to resort to pre-recorded videos too in order to show the music from the USA much of which was far better.
When Steve passed I was devastated I tried not to cry but I did
This is fantastic love it
I am a Steve Harley super fan ,loved Steve since 1974
this was his girlfreinds he bought it
I was born in the late 50's. My elder brothers bought the Beatles, Hollies records etc. In my mind Allan was the Hollies.
These two gentlemen aren’t djs they are family men they went on air to be with their family the area they serve thank you especially Broadway Bill Lee for keeping us in contact with the world not just because my family was raised on your voice but the way you make the residents and others in area the forefront ❤
the press are so idiotic. I like disco AND rock. They are not mutually exclusive.
btw to the guys, I am a stage manager and you should be able to change the order of the show if you have someone "calling" - they just tell the sound/lighting team which cues to jump to. its totally possible.
In an era when bands mime and use auto tune etc, i much prefer to see a band that is a little bit ragged. Its real. I don't care if something goes wrong, it proves the show is live (which is what I have PAID for). The most soulless show I have ever seen was Madonna. She mimed most of the night (all but one song I would say) and it was very "slick" but God it was boring. We didn't even stay for the encore.
It was auctioned 22 November, 2024. No results allowed I am afraid...
Taylor was a regular in my Bar in Ibiza...Bar Zuka...Top boy👏👏👏Nudge nudge wink wink say na more 😂😂😂
Long Cool Woman is one of my ten best songs of all time, and nice to hear a Manchester accent. 😄 I remember Cool for cats it was hosted by Kent Walton not Jack Jackson.
212 comments? Are you joking. Make no mistake about it. Alan Clarke was on a level of his own. You are now sewn into the fabric of Americas musical history and We thank you for it. God bless and good health Allan.
I recognise the old guy on the right from GB News 🤔. Going up in the world…
Leo is great.
Saw him in Glasgow last Sunday. Still has a great voice ❤
He went bare chest to bare chest with Robert Plant and pulled it off as well.

You shit on Freddies legacy. You should have let Queen die with some dignity. John knew.
Hello Alex where you gone No New videos Left solent to another station Not heard from you since Regards Adam

Roger taylor is my favourite drummer
If there is a person who can play John Cleese.. Roger Taylor could.. I'm kdding but they have such a similure way of speaking and acting..
I would be very surprised if if the bbc is the same as it was 60s and 70s. News readers other employees bbc much more aware of any negativity. I could be completely wrong. I’ve never have worked any television stations. In Australia. Let alone the bbc. I apologise for the length of this comment. Love queens music classic timeless . 😊😊❤❤❤❤
Roger is spot on...BBC and Britain are out of date...
Nie wiem o czym mówią ale i tak kocham Rogera ❤❤❤❤jego piosenki są tak treściwe...❤❤❤
Lovely interview!!! Eddy will never be forgotten. His music is much loved in Sweden too. 🌻😍
What’s all this arse licking nonsense all about
Great interview guy’s! Love the stories! Keep it coming Jim
Tony now pals with these old grey men, 😭 but there were the days when he communicated with Blitz Kids a young New Romantics and he was one of them, young and hot as hell! Now he looks like a normal man in his 60s. Sad.
He looks fabulous!! And still hot as hell 🔥🔥
Rogelio Teilorencio , de Alcafrán 😅
New 35 yrs +drummer here and a Roger Taylor fan #chickwithsticks

Kathy is so cute and adorable and beautiful 👍 I just love her ,her singing with her sisters got me through a lot in life🫶🏾🌎🙌🏾💥
„It looks cooked.“ Brilliant! 😂😂😂 Tony, don‘t go on tour any longer. You are the greatest chef of all time. 😂😅👍❤️
You didn’t even get the model correct. That is a Cadillac Seville.
Great interview with a thoroughly nice and genuine man.
