Coheed and Cambria- Time Consumer/ Delirium Trigger Live
มุมมอง 188K17 ปีที่แล้ว
This is from 2001, and is possibly the first show ever played by them as "Coheed and Cambria" (rather than the previous name, Shabutie" Note: I did not take shoot this video, nor do i claim it to be mine.
I watched this in Photoshop class when I was in high school. 15 years later I'm here still watching. This is history in the making. Coheed & Cambria are the greatest band of all time.
delirium trigger is among my favorite songs ever
Theyre playing so fucking fast almost looks like the video is being fast forward
holy shittt ❤
Love it!! I haven’t seen anything from this far back. It’s weird to not see Claudio’s flowing Mane
😮 dorm room or caf?
My brother in Christ, this is legit the most potent, powerful, -needed video I have found in the last several years. I'm fortunate enough to get to see a Neverender set of NWFT, in a few days... But this vid / clip brought literal tears to my eyes. So, I thank you for that.
ONE EIGHTY FOUR .... Thousand views! LETS BURN IT DOWN 🔥
Look how far we’ve come ❤
Wow, that was great!
I'm finally realizing this was before second stage turbine blade came out
Ohhhhh I can feel it, it’s gonna be good 🎉not that that big.
Man look how short his hair was back then.
Random Person: If you could go back in time to New York 2001, what would you do? Me: See Coheed and Cambria perform Person: Not prevent 9/11, or at least have the towers evacuate before the planes hit? Me: No I’d see Coheed perform in November
How could anybody just STAND there, UNPHASED
6:08 mic’s scream epic
Just got back from 2022 AWOTWM show... The amount of work and dedication to get from here to what I just witnessed is absolutely mind blowing. These guys will always have my deepest respect, and I'm proud to be a child of the fence for the last 15 years 💙
These songs. This album. In my opinion is some of the best songs ever written.
Man that energy is so addicting
Holy shit
Dear Claudio dear claudio its 2022 still epic
To think this is the show that got them signed to equal vision after sending them a ton of demos! Crazy!
RAISE.FORTH.LOST.CAUSE
Seriously magical, like even the mess ups are like... wierdly gold, it's like they just keep trucking. So inspirational. Coheed got me through so many dark days being alone, in my head, growing up. I will never forget those days, they helped shape me into an open minded human with a soul😄
As his hair began to grow, so did his white sg
I saw them in 2001 or 2002. Had no idea what I was listening to. Didn't become a fan till a year later and didn't even realize what I was listening to till years later. I wasn't even paying attention to them
holy fuck this was filmed at the dining hall at Vassar College. i went to undegrad there.
Delirium trigger is masterful.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Claudio only had an afro then
The irony here is that on the marquis is The Used (whom I assume coheed was opening for), fast forward 20 years and they just played a show in Baltimore where The Used opened up for them.
"God grand you one wish....to turn back time..." Yep. Wish I could go back and see this if real life
0:42 I lost it lmfao
God I almost skipped over this thinking it was a cover band. So amazing to see.
Can you imagine!
Jesus what a relic! Happy it showed up on my suggestions. This would be one of their earliest performances right?
The earliest recorded
@@jarg7 it sure sounds like it. awesome to see them so rough here
Fuck, this is gold! Crowd had no idea these guys would be legends today.
The drums are identical to the album version
This is proof Coheed was an emo band
Been watching this video for a decade, never gets old.
Delirium Trigger is my favorite song and to be able to watch a video from 2001 is pure GOLD. Got goosebumps 6:08 ... Thanks for sharing! 🤟
It's also my favorite track by them.
Samesies
This is proof, no band starts off as the mega giants they morph into with hard work and dedication. Still super bad ass to see this, makes me feel more comfortable in my own music abilities.
@TheMrCaptainStfu You take your own profile name advise.
@TheMrCaptainStfu Again, where applying your name would resolve this.
The captain of not taking his own advice.
@TheMrCaptainStfu Do your job Captain. You have 1 job. 1. I will court martial you.
Hahaha it's great on delirium trigger they all look shit faced staggering about
I hope this video endures long after we're gone and is unearthed by the next civilizations.
This may be the only time my afro was bigger than claudio's 😅😂
Dude I'm all the way here in 2020, and I still enjoy these guys.
Weird to see them this young. It looks like they’re playing at a high school or something lol
It's so aspiring to see a band at their beginnings when they didn't have a good sound team and made mistakes and stuff and still kept going and then continued to improve and get so popular after 20 years. I wish I could have started a band sooner knowing we'd just have to keep at it to get like C&C.
Gotta say, there fan-base has no doubt grew 10+ fold. However, I wouldn't call them popular. They have a few SONGS that are VERY POPULAR. I still think they are not as big as they should be.
@@jakeydeefpv they've completely filled up every venue I've ever seen them play at and they move exponentially more merch than bands twice as popular as them. They're all certainly multimillionaires. They're about as big as you can get before you're only playing stadiums and headlining festivals.
Christ this performance is so rough but having been to and played a lot of tiny shows, that chaotic show energy is incredible.
Agreed I miss the 3/4 empty bars and lounges but man it was fun
This is fucking mental to see with my own eyes
