Shift to 1st gear and fire and crank it with much more powerful motor electric starter that it runs the gasoline motor running I. 500 RPM engine speed. Then pull up the kick stand and some.pop wheelie then wheel would Revolution at least 1600 RPM for it to be flywheel heavy called. Counter weight in harmonic balance it out. It is easier like go use magneto into the parts of flywheel and magneto with regards system rectifier to delay the very advance dwell in the capacitor discharge ignition computer box from similar to super chief single CD250 Zongshen Honda Red Hawk.

    I just got my parts that I ordered 3 days ago from moto cult They came packaged very nice. They gave me some stickers a keychain and a kickstand pad that the 3d printed. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the parts and they have answered so many of my questions. I'm installing the parts tomorrow and I'll let you guys know. Also the head gasket they sent is 2/3rds thinner than stock and stainless!! These engines are prone to blowing head gaskets. So this is a must have up grade. And for 8 dollars, you can not go wrong.

    What are the specifications of each stage? what is your interpretation of a stage? to one person, stage 1 may be a muffler, To another it may be everything external being replaced. a third person will have stripped the engine bare and replaced every single part as they will only pull the engine apart once, and the engine will produce 5 times it's original output. and to them that is the ONE and only stage they will consider... aka stage 1! Quit saying stage, and start saying "intended purpose kit" and say what the specs are. People need to know if a camshaft will get them down a dragstrip or up a steep hill. it can't do both!

    I have been using 65ml oil cooler on my CG250 for almost a year and I can say that these air cooled engines need it, mine is fan assited with a 4" fan relay and manuel switch, without the oil cooler the oil would exceed 265°F when climbing hills and long rides and traffic lights in the city, now 180°~190°F all day riding, uphills, and days where outdoor temp is over 90°F. Without the oil cooler oil changes where 1300ml now with the oil cooler 1500ml. When changing the oil I empty the oil cooler removing the 2 hoses every 1000km or 600mi. The crush washers need changing also.

    Interesting design but I see a few issues - Would this not make adjusting the valves more of a pain when it comes time? Your website seems to have no specs listed at all? Dimensions, capacity, nothing. At twice the price of a normal CG250 oil cooler I would expect some sorta information to make sure it's not just a waste of money. How much does it actually cool the oil temp? Who knows if it's any better or worse than a normal one with no specs about it?

    @Motocult Do the shortened dowel pins come with the 70mm bore kit? I want to order one but I don't have a lathe to knock off the .08 on the stock pins. I have already ordered the stage one kit a couple of weeks ago. *FYI* I ordered a 72.5 (piston diameter) bbk from China, just to let others know, it WILL NOT fit unless the engine case is bored out. I was trying to get a little more CC's but I do not want to go through the trouble of tearing the engine down completely and having it bored, so now I'm stuck with a kit I will not use. The point I am making is, without boring the engine case out, the biggest drop-in install is the 70mm bbk for the Hawk 250... ***UPDATE 1/28/23***: Ordered the ported head, 70mm cylinder bbk, oil cooler from @Motocult. Devin has been extremely helpful. Products came in quick. Installed the parts according to the videos and the bike cranked right up. Had to adjust the idle, which was easy with the Nibbi PE30 carb. Bike feels stout at the bottom end, I haven't hammered down on it yet because gotta break it in a little bit. I ordered the bike Jan 7 and when it came in I didn't even start it until I put the mods on. Mods so far: I have installed the Motocult ported head, Motocult 70mm bbk, Motocult oil cooler, Motocult power cam, Nibbi PE30 carb with 115/35 jetting, Nibbi air filter, Nibbi performance ignition coil with MSD 3311 spark plug boot, Wetenex 6 pin CDI box, NGK (DPR-8EIX-9) Iridium Spark Plug, LED bulbs with new flasher relay, JFG Exhaust, 17 tooth front sprocket with 45 rear, RPS digital speedometer (which for some reason is not working?) and thats all so far I think. I am going to change out the Chinese Olive Oil they used for brake fluid that comes in the bike, and probably the fork oil. Although I would like to eventually change out the front forks as they look pretty toothpickish - seem ok on the road but idk how they would hold up off-road...I will update again once I break in the bike.

    Is the button head bolt necessary for clearance? I ordered a kit off aliexpress similar to this one and it doesn't include that bolt, but getting one at the hardware store shouldn't be an issue. (edit: just check the valve cover fit without the gasket installed, details in the replies)

    • @devinbiek5951

    • @dennisyoung4631
      @dennisyoung4631 ปีที่แล้ว

      Note: button-head bolts can be difficult to find. If your local hardware store does not have them, I suggest *bolt depot.* They are online. I’ve bought fasteners from them before on a number of occasions, including *button-head bolts in several sizes.*

      IS it okay not to replace the button head bolt?

    • @TheViolatorinator
      @TheViolatorinator 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@capcycling6578 Late reply but just for others looking for info. Check whether the valve cover fits flush with the cylinder head without the gasket installed. You check without the gasket since it sticks out but gets squeezed down once the bolts tighten it down. You'd probably damage the valve cover trying to tighten it down with the gasket installed if you do end up needing the clearance with the bolt. I installed my oil cooler valve cover just fine on a stock hawk engine without swapping the bolt. Later, when I installed the motocult big bore kit with the shim on the rocker assembly to compensate for the decked(shorter) cylinder, the bolt became necessary. The valve cover (due to additional passages) would hit the original bolt before touching the gasket surface, and kinda wobble around not sitting flush.
