Hi I had mine 4 weeks ago. I feel great . I lost 6 kg already. My fibroids weighed 2 kg. I’m a bit slower walking but I’m gradually building myself up to do more walking and having a better diet than I used to. Thank you to all the beautiful women who shared their stories. Happy new year to you all xx
@@arinakintante6232 Hi! I’m happy that you are doing well! We are all on a this journey together. Thanks for sharing your experience as well.
I had surgery on December 19th 2024 I stayed in the hospital for 2 days. Recovery has gone okay so far with the exception on 4th day. I guess I ate something that didn't agree with me. I was vomiting all day. So scared my incision would open because of the force my body was making while vomiting. It was rough. My advice to everyone they tell you you can eat anything after surgery and I'm here to tell you don't do it. Eat lightly.
@@ortizlisa6609 That is great advice. I hope you start feeling better soon. Praying for your speedy recovery ❤️🩹
@@ortizlisa6609 What about the gas?
Day 2 post op. Pain is minimal - thank God 🙌🏽. Laparoscopic robotic procedure. Everything had to go except I my ovaries. I’m so grateful to have it done and I’m ready for abundant life after this!

Hello, i am 4 weeks in after my surgery,my Husband is going thru it,The Doctor told him he has to wait for 12 weeks....❤.... He is counting down. I am so good so far,i went for my two week check and I had a odor, but she said it was from the material they use to mend everything together. She told me if it was the wrong odor I would have the entire room smelling and she did do a small exam in the inside and said no worries. I go back for my 6 week check up in two weeks nervous again. Oh by the way I had a partial hysterectomy, leaving my ovaries intact . I'm trying to get back in the swing of things, my Husband took time off with me and he is doing an awesome job.We have twin boys who are severely autistic. Two teens boys and everyone is waiting for me to get better.❤
@@kw1384 Hey friend! Thank you so much for sharing your story. I’ll be praying for you. @@msdee2682Hey Friend! How are you doing?
She mentioned that this is "normal" and these are the things that women go through. This is far from normal, it's an epidemic on black women. This is not happening to other races. Some women do want to keep there uterus and don't already have children. It can be a very traumatic experience for some women.
@@deliciamarshall4541 That is a very good point. Thank you for sharing that perspective. More research needs to be done and perhaps we together can raise more awareness.
