    Good to seen a lighter week to allow the body to adapt. 5:20/km is a 3:45 Marathon, is that your target? Also fuelling, at some point before race day, maybe a good idea to try the stuff they will provide to see if it sits well on your stomach. Happy Birthday!

      Ramp test Aug 9th gave me an FTP of 228. Currently around 82kg so 2.78 watts/kg.

    Good solid sessions, quality work outs. Running looked particularly strong. Maintaining good form on the speed bike session, cadence maintained. As you improve efficiency you will produce less heat on the bike for a given speed and this will mean cooling off very quickly when stopped. I would consider a gilet or light spray jacket for stops and cooler conditions.

    Thanks for the update! If you are struggling to fit in the gym every week, are you able to change your micro cycle length? Gym every 9 days? Complicated to do with real life as well. Good form in the sessions, well done.

    hey, why dont you use the same headphones for running? i am thinking about buying some for swimming and running cause the ones i have now are always falling out while running... 🤣

      Hey Mattia! I actually just used my swimming headphones on a run this morning! They worked well. I use the Shokz OpenSwim. The only downside about using them is they don’t have Bluetooth. So you can only listen to audio files you have downloaded onto the device.

      @@dsd6538 Yeah, it’s the old fashioned way! No Spotify or Audible. You need to download the MP3 files you want to put onto the device. Google can help you acquire these files 😛 Shokz do have Bluetooth headphones in this style, but they’re not waterproof.

    Hi, may I humbly suggest some catch up and pseudo (wrist line trigger, catch up) drills for the swim, to see what happens. The hand on exit looks a bit "floppy", suggesting that you are not finishing the drive phase, leading to the arms having to hurry the recovery and the hips not properly driving the stroke (chicken and egg!). I can't see the trigger point to release the lead hand from the side. You are quite tall so the front quadrant style of swimming may suit you. Some under water shots would be nice, but dependent on not getting anybody else in shot and the pool giving permission. Enjoy the training! Jon

    If your HR at threshold is 174 then you Z2 HR should never get above 150

      Hello 👋🏼 My Threshold HR is 189 (based on threshold run test) and my HR max is 205. So based on that, and the fact that 150-160 bpm feels conversational to me, I’m all good! 💪🏼

      Hey Magnus! My easy run is paced completely by heart rate and RPE. Based on my threshold test, and max HR (205), my easy pace HR (zone 2) is 160-169bpm. As long as I’m at or below that range, and it feels easy, then I’m all good!
