I got the 2024 Rwarr Mantis & really the only thing that would be an upgrade from it is an Ultra Bee or Stark Varg, I've ridden most of the other bikes, & they feel more like a eMTB, than a Dirt Bike, & the Mantis from its inception was built to be more of a dirt bike style e moto, a lot of these companies seem to have lost their way, & focus on the wheelie kids who dance on their seats, & haven't made really any improvements to make them more stout, the E Ride Pro for example needed a new frame, & strengthened components, more than 2 more models with really only speed additions to it, those MTB parts are designed for 40lb & under bikes, at speeds of maybe 45-50mph in small bursts, but I'd rather have these companies focus on improving the overall strength of these bikes, & range more than anything
Damn bro, you got quite the fleet of ebikes!!! 🤯 I know that really that ANYTHING over 12kw-15kw is hard to control offroad, you definitely can't give them even close to full power, my sweet spot is like 9.5kw‐12.5kw for rideability, BUT I'm a man who likes speed, so I'm looking to either build a bike, or buy a Stark Varg, but some of the complaints I've been hearing been making me have 2nd thoughts, I'm far from rich, & would really only be buying it to hopefully, along with all my other ebikes i have 8 or more) to launch a TH-cam channel. I'm starting a ebike rental service, so need to start building a social media presence, & me working in the industry doing testing/R&D for multiple brands, i think i can bring a unique perspective
What type of motor is it 60 or 80?
80
Sick bike man hope you have some great rides
That big rotor is a must! Got it on mine! Awesome looking bike🤙🏻
Thanks !
That is beautiful! What was the build out cost?
@@Trials77 around 18k id suspect. I’ve sold most of the stock parts and recouped some of the cost. I also have two wheel sets for the bike
Bro got all bases covered
@@jcmoney4125 I built the Talaria waiting on my Ultra Bee to be delivered. Built the Ultra Bee after I got it . Internet comments kept coming up that I should have just bought a Stark instead. So I bought a Stark just to shut that up lol.
@@Castortroy901 lol I love it
how fast?
Bro I’m from Memphis n got the same set up!!! Can’t find no one round here to ride with!!!! WHERE U AT IN THE M????

What state do you live in that allowed you to register it?
Whats the top speed and range?
Like the graphics as well... got a link ?
I absolutely love the bee-themed decals, epic looking bike.
Thanks a lot I really like the way the build turned out.
Son wants a ebike for around $600 that goes 20-25 mph since thts the limit in the United Kingdom. any idears would help pls.
Yes hes 13 aswell
I don’t have a suggestion to pass along, the electric bike market is rapidly growing new bikes are coming out almost weekly seems like. Hopefully you can find something that meets your needs , sorry I wasn’t able to help
need the front mud guard back on look way better
I’m putting my EXT front forks back on this weekend. I’ve come to the conclusion that street riding isn’t for me on these bikes. I’ll definitely be putting my front fender back on soon.
Lookin sick. These bikes are so much fun to ride. I have 19k miles on my Surron and not stopping. Be safe out there!
Wow 19k miles that’s a lot of seat time. Thanks for the comment and be safe yourself as well.
Nice bike man I have a motor and controllers is on the way was wondering the top speed with everything on ?
With the 53 tooth sprocket and irc dual tires I gps tested at 76 mph without maxed out field weakling or any other top speed test settings. Smaller sprocket and all the settings tweaked I could easily see it going 80-85 mph. Not a platform that was intended to go that fast though.
Depends on the settings on the controller & battery
what levers you got on?
KKE Brake Levers
Awesome, awesome monster build. Great job.
Thanks !!
How did u get it Registered 😊
i just got a chubby
total costs?
looks like 12k
Wow man! Badass.
That's a beast...super upgrades...but I did all bolt ons and all suspension first. Now looking to do battery and controller.
I ride technical trails, hard enduro style rough terrain and occasional forest roads. My UB in its stock form with only a better rear tire (Mitas soft compound 100/90-19) is all I need. For technical riding you need traction more than you need power. In fact too much power can sometimes negatively affect traction. To each is own.
Yeah, i said that on 1 of his other videos, that anything really over 15kw is almost un-rideable off road, the KW "sweet spot" is like 9kw-12.5kw (peak power) & at least 6kw nominal. I do 50/50 riding, only because i live in Reno Nevada, so can be in the desert or mountains in 10 minutes, in any direction, & our L.E.O's are chill, & most ride themselves, so they turn a blind eye to us riding them, as long as we ride respectfully & responsibly. I have the 2024 Rwarr Mantis 72v, & for my riding style, it is PERFECT, it comes with a direct mount stem w/extra risers, real dirt bike rims, no belt drive, has a custom made KKE shock, which is taller, thicker, & has more travel, as well as 60lb steel internals out the box, it also has the best lower center of gravity than any of the other bikes I've ridden, & it has clearance for days, because of its unique design. It can take a beating like no other bike I've ridden either, we have awful, rocky, craggy trails here in Nevada, that's really technical, & it's gotten me home in 1 piece every time, with no issues, can't ask for anything more....😂
Wow, that's a great looking bike. 40kw is an absolute BEAST!
Thanks , all the power mods and wheels came from the great service of Charged Cycle Works !!
@@Castortroy901how do you get 40kw out of the bike? How many battery amps are you running on the controller?
@@claymation1066 I have the ability to turn it up to 500 battery amps max on the controller via password provided by EBMX after showing them all the power mods I had installed. My race 3 mode is set at 450 amps 35kw and 900 phase amps . You have to ask EBMX for the password to unlock that power range.
I'm getting ready to fully build my Rwarr Mantis, I have the 2024 model, & really love it for my riding style, & that it can be registered to be street legal as well, not that Reno cops care, they're mostly all riders or fans of them, so they just let us be if we ride responsibly. I'm getting a settlement from getting hit by a car a few months ago & want to go all out, but don't know what motor, battery & controller would even work, I'd love your guys' help in this build, no one else is doing it, so I guess i will. Lol
my on Monday
What's the range in off-road conditions?
I don’t know exactly but the 76ah battery feels like double stock range. I’ve done 30 miles on some flowing trails with elevation changes with 40/45% battery remaining. I could easily see 50+ miles on a full charge.
That is a gorgeous bike
Thanks! I love your videos!
how does it compare to the varg in power mode 3 40kw?
To be honest at my current skill level of riding that level of power isn’t usable for me . Both will put a smile on your face when you crack that throttle. Majority of the riding I’ve come to enjoy is flowing single track trail riding. I typically run 15kw for this specific type of trails riding.
stock suspension? so what kind of mileage?
Yes still on stock suspension, I haven’t done a full range test but I highly believe that I could get 60 + miles on a charge.

I would like to inquire about the chain conversion kit motor small gear guard product. Is this the after-sales product of Surron Lightbee?
The chain conversion and gear guard is from DirtyBikes . Definitely aftermarket parts and I’d assume is also available for the lightbee.
There is a light cost aftermarket product, but there is no UltraB product, so please link to the place of purchase.^^

Bro i have a question where can you buy 40kw engines and could you maybe do a part list cuz i wann build one too?
EBMX motor , EBMX x-9000 v2 controller and 82v 76ah battery from Charged / EBMX and a whole lotta money !! Don’t forget the lotta money part it’s important.

Where did tlyou get your turn signals and back tail light from? Is this a US or CHINA version? I live here in San Diego CA and their getting more strict on us here.. about to buy Ultra bee next month
It’s the imported Chinese version came with the road legal items.
Sick build 🤙🏽🔥 question how did you register your ultra and get a street legal with plates ?
I bought the imported version with all the road legal parts already installed. I had the Chinese certificate of origin professionally translated into English and took the translated Certificate of Origin to my local tag office and was able to register and received a title from my state. The translation was cheap but that’s how I was able to register. With a full vin number and a little as a “bill of sale” Dirt Legal can help you register just about anything even without you actually having the road legal requirements like lights, blinkers and other bits. You would still need to get that stuff not only for road laws but for your safety as well.
@@Castortroy901 yeah that’s what ima do registered through Dirt legal. Thanks for the info
@@Castortroy901did you get it translated from the supplier or factory or Something else, as I’m trying to do same
Only thing in my budget is the Talaria XXX. What would you recommend in that range?
I’d look at Rerode 1 over the xxx but I just don’t like the way the xxx looks. Rerode is basically Surron clone with 72 v battery. Fairly cheap but you gotta buy direct from china.
@Castortroy901 ill check that out. I really like the looks of the solar eclipse /niu xqi3 but afraid of reliability of that model as it seems weak for 72v
I'd rather have the equivalent in money on a real gas compression dirt bike any day. And I'm all electric kids! So, that's really effed up for ME to even say. What a total POS waste of electricity. Horrible performance. You ALL hear it. Say you don't. liars.
This comment just reeks of being a broke-ass child. You come to a video of an e-bike just to scream into the ether about performance per dollar vs a gas equivalent, seemingly trying to start a horse-beaten-to-death debate with no-one, calling someone (anyone?) liars... I have a stock UB, it rips. It doesn't replace gas bikes, nor is it trying to, but having a 50 HP, PLATED, QUIET bike certainly has it's place... someday you'll understand.
We understand you are poor, guess what nobody cares what you think.
Cool story
How did you blow a valve in the forks? I’m about to get some for my talaria and want to make sure I make the right choice.
Very mild trail riding and a couple of jumps on maybe 4ft hill . I don’t believe the side that blew out was tightened properly from factory. The entire threaded bottom busted out the bottom of one fork. The mild nature of what I was doing really makes me believe I was just unlucky and got a bad set. Shortly after this video I got a response and should have a new fork very soon. Also I had a 21” x18” setup on my Talaria I don’t think that was the issue but really not the best wheel set for that size bike. I’d still go with EXT if I were you.
So you put a new motor in it? Cause from the website its listed at 12kW Power
Yes I upgraded the motor as well as the controller and the battery. With a controller alone you can get 17kw out of stock battery an and even more from stock motor with a controller/battery combo. The stock power is listed at 12kW on the website. The stock motor is actually pretty decent at handling 20+kw I never had overheating issues I just wanted to be able to turn up the power.
I got one bike down two more to go stark is my next one ….
