The absurd amount of defense for the idea of cheating is wild. Questionable at best. Ignorant to believe that there are not cheaters. That line of thought is naive. Instead let’s promote toxicity towards people and pretend it doesn’t exist. Sick. Bunch of tools.

Yeah, many people just get too emotionally engaged in a game and start to call everyone a cheat. However, the fact that you have channels here on TH-cam like Huuge that spectate and report cheaters and then get told by Crytek to “shut up or else”, just proves that cheating is becoming a more prevalent problem in the hunt community. I myself get owned all the time in most shoot outs but that’s because I got the game like 3 weeks ago. Have I encountered legit cheaters yet? Yes, a few times. Most recently I was standing completely still in a corner of a basement in a solo match with Necromancer. I had already killed the map’s only boss and was expecting to have one heck of a fight on my hands, likely one I would not win. I banished the boss but was using it as bait. I had rigged the body and the rest of the building with a dozen or so traps and figured I would wait until the others had their shootout and then I would see what I could do after the odds were a little better. A duo entered and picked up the bounty only for the traps I rigged on the body to kill them both. (I could see two separate token marks, indicating that they had both been picked up and were sitting on the dead bodies) then still standing still, the cheater entered the lair with what I would come to learn was an ESP or extra sensory perception hack. He didn’t go for the tokens, he didn’t even investigate them or the room they were in from the sounds of his footsteps. He bolted down the stairs to the basement and vaulted the window and ran down the hall and around the other side of the corner I was hiding behind. I could hear him right there and I made sure not to move as I assumed he was just trying to hide like me. Then he rounded the corner and slashed me with a katana. How and why he would have ignored the bounties and taken the exact route to my location when so many other routes and hiding places existed and did so with no real hesitation at full sprint was suspicious to say the least. He didn’t trigger any of the traps and when I saw his level he was apparently 0 prestige and only level 38. I later learned this is common as new accounts for those who have been banned due to cheating are cheap and readily available. All the same, I figured I would give him the benefit of the doubt and say he got lucky. Upon reviving with my trait several minutes later, it was surely just me and him left. To my surprise even several minutes later, despite the fact that he should have had no clue as to whether I was a solo or part of a duo. He was waiting and watching my body. When I got up (again, minutes later, at least 2) he was still there with his katana waiting to kill me again. At this point I had no doubt something was rotten. It is sad but thankfully where I live there have been few instances where genuine cheating has occurred. From what I hear though, Asia is another story…

That still doesn't change the fact that game was swarmed by cheaters before the update, i mean the last few months before that. Things are alot better rn, but still. The game is using the same AC as apex, elden ring and tons of other games. If someone says that there are not that many cheaters, i'll ask them to check what happend with Apex on launch and for almost entire season 2. + it's not the same game as few years ago, players number seriously has increased, so do cheater numbers.

The problem is that cheating is rampant in Hunt... that is why legit players have become paranoid about it. There are so many players with a VAC ban in high MMR, like 30% of the playerbase, never seen before in any other games. The fact that Crytek does not take any action against cheating drives players to behave like this, weird kill = report. Honestly today i have faced a 6* player with 200h of time played and 3000 duos eliminated, it is 6000 kills... ad to this the trio wiped and the one kill you get around 8000/10000 kills in 200h. It is 40kills/h. That guy is cheating for 200h without being banned, it is bullshit, Crytek does nothing about it that is why it is rampant. I have not met so many cheaters in any other game, even WQarzone has less cheaters...

Before 1896, id get killed by wall hackers, and aim botters all the time. If i played for 6-10 hours on a weekend id usually run into 2. Thats a third to a fith of games that had them. Granted some days i didnt, but still thats a lot of games getting recked by cheaters.

i feel like this video is just to propagate the idea of "there's not that many cheaters" when within the last year 2 well known hackselling sites started selling closet cheats for this game and i believe thats why we've seen a ramp up in accusations. aswell as just some sweaty players who are midmaxing gameplay being in 4-5 star instead of 6, and you get alot of salt + false claims. though im sure i'll get downvoted or deleted for saying that there ARE alot of cheaters in hunt , just bc they're not blatant doesn't mean they don't exist. i'd say back when i played last which was may ,i prolly would say 75% of the players i ran into where "sus" and only 20-30% of those players did i feel confident in believing were having external assistance. if you want to see more or better examples of closet cheating. look at "escape from tarkov" as if you don't know what closet cheating looks like this might be a good rabbit hole to follow if you wish for a prime example "suddenlytoast" might help as hes covered by alot of content creators that help point out what closet cheating can look like. hope this was helpful
