Quick 15 Minute Mat Workout | Johanna Pilates
Let's do some quick 15 minute mat work! I didn't say it would be easy, but it will be quick.
Just grab your mat and hit the floor with me! We'll start with a straight armed plank and then get into the meat of today's workout.

What modification will I use if someone cant stay on his knees? At all? Will it work in a different settings?
Sit on the long box facing back. With the first one (single arm chest expansion), sitting on the box with feet on the headrest will work. You’ll need more tension for the bicep curl, so you will have to straddle the box and scoot back a tad.

I just started pilates and I have lots of injuries so I opted for a Springboard and I am so glad I FINALLY found a video I can listen to! LOL Most suck! And I like your descriptive instructions and your kinda sassy attitude- Is this considered a "beginner" video? It was a bit tiring for me and I didn't get through it - ugh.
Oh I’m so happy you liked it! Let me tell you….its not easy at all, and I would not classify it as beginner. I ALWAYS have a hard time getting through what I teach especially while talking!!!! Ugh! I’ll be sure to get more springboard videos out. Yep…I try to bring a little humor to the situation. Why not? 🤣

If I may say, I LOVE your take on pilates. After all the bubbly teachers it's nice to see someone like me who...is just getting through it. It's great, I think you're funny and honest, and please post more without equipment. I can't afford 'the rack' etc. so it's nice to have floor based honest things. Again, great morning.
