@@TheBaitCave what is your opinion.I’m only doing plastic for myself,do you think it would be ok to use my only microwave.I don’t use it a lot,maybe just to warm up a coffee or something like that.
@@ronmacdougall9612 I definitely would NOT recommend using the microwave for anything you eat or drink. Plastisol is very dangerous to humans!

This was awesome and my first encounter with your channel. I really appreciate your mindset and approach to bait pouring. Totality agree re: not competing with others and pouring baits to share and use yourself. I just got my hands on the nugget mold and starting pouring with it last night. I tried pouring into the mold without heating the mold as I don’t have a hot plate. Do you think I could heat the mold with a heat gun? I know the precision and control will be lacking versus a hot plate. My main issue is the top of the bait caves in as the pastic cools faster on the outside than inside.
Hey Matthew, thanks for checking out my channel!!! I appreciate your kind words!! Im not sure about not using a hot plate. A lot of cold cracking can occur if the mold is not all the same temp. You can definitely try to make it work!!! The biggest piece of advice I can give you, is try new things and don't be scared to fail. Every maker out there fails a ton. Be the good ones learn from it!!! Keep on pouring my friend!!!

Thanking you for sharing your tips and tricks. I just started dabbling in making my own soft plastic baits. It’s becoming my 2nd favorite hobby next to fishing. I have two open pour molds Bot worms from Angling AI & currently expecting a 4” triple dip tube mold. Any tips on tube molds injections?

I use bait plastics 242 blend for everything I shoot!! From my smallest baits to big baits like this!!! To me that's the perfect durometer of plastisol for everything!!!
