i really think honestly if stephan was to choose elena over matt when she was down in wickery bridge in the water i think the plot would of changed ofc elena would still be human but she also will be vulnerable to other vampires. Because not to mention but klaus wasnt even in s1 yet so while this was going we had no idea of this because it was a cycle it was katherine pierce, Klaus,Elijah,Rebekah,Kol,Silas, then evil alaric and all the other vamps from the other diminsion was all afraid of someone katherine was running from klaus, klaus was running from his father, Elijah was afraid of his father as well Rebekah wanted to be a normal girl and ran away from her lover of a hunter, Silas wanted to be with his lover amara, So he ran from his ex, Kol wanted redemption to be in real world so he was in a box for centuries, and evil alaraic wanted to wipe out all the vampires. So technically all the villians was running away from someone or always on the move. So the best decision was to let elena be in the water and eventually save her life to become a vampire. The thing with stephan is i think he truly loved her and she loved him but it was more of a romantic danger vibe like he let elena make her decision, while also protecting her, but also risking his life, but did lie to her and keep secrects and wasnt brutally straight foward. And sometimes compromised their relationship to fight the villians. Damon on the other hand his love was more of a lustful feeling the need to always want danger in your life, and always crave a bad boy and thats what he gave elena and thats why elena loved him so much, yes damon was dangerous yes he did bad things yes he lied and put everyone life on the line and snapped jermey neck. But to really prove it all damon had the most change of heart than stephan damon was vulnerable and dark but always kept up his end and never showed it even with his emotions on. So without damon in the show and bonnie the whole entire season wouldnt last soon as elena was just a human and never a vampire.

I've always thought Claire's 2 biggest enemies were her ancestors: Leoghaire ("Leghair" 🤣) is Marsali's mother and le Comte St. Germain is Fergus's father and his mother is a Beauchamp. I think when Percy Wainright(?) "Beauchamp" finally tracks down Fergus, and his and Marsaili's son Germain Fraser will take the name Beauchamp so he can inherit their French estate, and he's Claire's ancestor. I hope that comes out in both the 10th book and 8th season of the TV series. If it doesn't, it's my story and I'm sticking with it. 😆

Fergus and Marsali had more children, in the 9th book, including twins. Also, Fergus’s FATHER, the Count, was also a time traveler. Gabaldon wrote this in her short stories and novellas. I ALWAYS thought Fergus and Marsali were Claire’s ancestors! I’m glad someone is pointing that out! You realize that also means that Leoghaire is also Claire’s ancestor LOL! Not to mention Mrs.Fitz at Castle Leoch in the first book.

I have only seen the movies so far and they actually feel a lot like a stepped down version of Lord Of The Rings to me. Especially with the battles and the whole lost King/Queen stuff. The end kind of confused me, like.. What the hell happend? They died in a train accident and then came back in Narnia? Or am I getting something wrong here? Definitley should try to get my hands on the audiobooks or the printed version xD

Edward needs therapy, this no-one, not even miraculous Bella, codependent love will not save anyone, not even Edward. I miss the story more describing the relationship between Rosalie Emmett, where the author could have shown how long it takes to build a healthy relationship based on consent and trust. Unfortunately, we didn't get anything in the book, only a celebration of suicide as a path to love. We got Edward and Alice, who are accomplices in Bella's manipulation. We could also have Bella turned upside down by James and she would face the consequences of the vampire world. Maybe she would eventually want to be human again, she would value humanity, friends and her father. Finally, treatment for vampirism could also bring a happy ending to Rosalie and Emmett, their ability to have a family and a life.
