Thanks for posting and getting back to uploading on TH-cam 👍
Dude appreciate the deep dive sooo much help..😂 cuz right now I keep losing 😢
Sampocentric. Hee-Haw 69'-71' Regular: Junior Sampos (Samples)
Make the DGV guys put accurate/ skip sampo in one of the upcoming shops 😂
Wouldn't surprise me if it got put up soon. Same with Skip Paradigm, I think it's due for a pack appearance.
Among the built-in TURN attributed disc series, (Strive, Captain, Enigma, Paradigm, DD3) I think what you're trying to describe is 'TURN Touchiness' where the TURNiness gets accentuated. The Turn/Fade correlation is a major Turn determining factor. Wind Direction is also is a big factor, tailwinds negate or stall the inherent turn, headwinds extenuate turn (except backhand, right to left headwind) In 2+ mph winds, 3 basic wind directions negate the degree of TURN exhibited.
Yes, let’s do spin <3
I find it really easy to watch and follow your train of thoughts, thank you for your amazing videos and your open mind 💪😊
Thanks! i have shied away from making these types of vids because of the work that goes into them, but if you want to pick my brain on discord I'm happy to help.
Just really found your content and was playing around with your putting and throw in system and I have to say… I’ve never been so confident staring down a 4 headwind on kp2 and draining it from 120. I’m going to spend sometime this week finding lines with the glide pd so I can take that sapphire out of the bag. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and data with us.
thanks for the kind words, I still use this system today, it has been very consistent dealing with the winds.
I’m definitely gonna give it a go. Thank you.
The DD3 G/WS has a hard time bucking a 3 headwind on LS5, I lay up on that wind. I used to bend it between the trees on the right just to skip-carry, but they put that dock in. Then on LS9, 2nd water skip forehand shot, in a tail wind you have to back off the power to 3 Wi-Fi bands. I'm aiming high there to scrub power on a few forehand approach water skips in lesser winds. I like to water skip but the last update took some holes away (LS4, LS5 in 3 wind: dock) The DD3 can lack power in certain situations. Its a nice straight shooter, headwinds push/exaserbate the backhand turn, like you say.
i finally added the digm to my bag, but I still miss the DD3 from time to time.
@@Stever16 SpiNnyoff ought to just fill the bag screen, add another 7 slots, you just know they will make you pay through the nose for. Then you can carry the big grail and a straighter DD Pair-of-Dime (strippers) /Enigma version for tree tunnel holes. You need both straight and hyper-flex versions for the major DD attribute combinations, save for T/G as that's what gets built-in to the straighter Paradigm discs. Then you'd have a free slot to try new discs, and carry a throw-in sharp shooter 10 speed A/W.
I’d love a lefty line😁I bag two Sampo’s, but neither one is a skip. I don’t think they would make that forehand line distance anyway. I might try my a/s Grace with a similar forehand line🤷♂️
Salvage My Half-Baked Stake Striking Line; Rehabilitate My Ego. Sampos' are swivels
Dude whats a swivel?
@@Stever16 Terminal fishing tackle, the best ball bearing swivels are made by Sampo. In this instance, it helps articulate an easier line for NDP15.
@@richparks1966 ah man, the best fairways are made by sampo! lol i would have never made that connection.
@@Stever16 The way everything is so tight, any straighter flight path is an advantage. Fairways are the new rebranding angle, swivels have been going on since the mid 50's.

"I'm seeing Bam's problem here, it's the Sapphire..." 🤣🤣 I would love a series from you on the harder lines in DGV, you are the DGV Analyst! Thanks Stever.
taking requests! whats your #1 trouble hole?
@@Stever16 These are the first ones that come to mind. A few I throw the A/G Sapphire on and others I struggle for a reasonably consistent play. NL3, MH3 Gold, FV2 and PB9 for starters. Would love to see your lines. Thanks!
Can’t wait for more of them
Thanks for your content on this game. Most of my shots have been based on luck but just realising there is some method to achieving consistent accuracy aside from practicing. I like aim point to be same and adjust angle based on wind direction. Still trying to grasp the power / wi-fi metre. If I can will full “send” most shots.
You got dogged by a bunch of particularly bad 3-winds. My take is, if you guys weren't out making the game look stupid simple, they wouldn't turn up the winds on everybody. j/k Also See: 6 months of bad chains, and now -15 Diamond DC layouts.
fun to watch!
I think they used Prodigy baskets for your Enso round
Felt more like a Marksman 😬
tough luck man but overall you still did really well. congrats dude.
You shot 18 in the third round 😳
Yeah, the ace on 2 was crazy, then to not only catch great winds on 4 and 7 but lace them both. Really lucky.
Steel series moments has such an aggressive noise when you save clips 😂
I should change it lol
@Stever16 what irritates me is that if you clip twice in a row moments records it's own clip noise. They could cut that out easily.
That tee off is always a ??? for me as well bud. Great run though!
@1:55 the wobble also pushed super hard to the left right before you released the shot, while I’ve always been cognizant of that for throw ins, I never really took it into account off the tee until this most recent season of multiplayer when I think I heard Fergie mention something about it in a video…
Enigma is great
Moto g stylus here
I've always used a fiber mesh tipped generic stylus. The s pen seems like an active stylus. Very fine point and it's super sensitive and picks up a lot. I keep firing the disc off when I'm not ready. Got a hair trigger lol.
@@Stever16 my new screen protector is causing me miss fires 😞
Love that forehand line on LS4! The throw in on LS9 was amazing. Even with the mistake on PB9 it was still a good round. I never learn from trauma on holes. 😂
11:17 🤣way to clear your name Stever
Really enjoyed watching this. Learned a ton! As a player that continues to ignore the fact that wobble is a factor it was awesome to listen to your explanations and your decision making. Good luck in the playoffs!
Thanks! I tried to be consistent when using the terms sway (camera movement) and wobble (disc shake/RNG) because it can be kinda confusing.
Sorry for the loud game audio on rounds 3 and 4. I switched to a different recording software after round 2 failed. At least they look better!
Incredible!
I like the flyover pointing out all the holes we hit
Definitely not planned, but when I saw where it was going I backed it up to point them out. Happy accident!
thats wild. congrats dude
Putting with Stever!😂😂😂
My system is pretty similar, but far less thorough.
Gotta switch to backhand at 50 ft.
And hit everything inside 100 feet 95% of the time.
I was fairly pleased that it only took 6...LOL.@hoff0839
This thumbnail is S tier
🤣
Sick Reese hope, I don't remember when you pulled that one
One of the first two free pulls season 6.
I feel like at this point in MP if you don't carry a water skip disc you are losing strokes. Especially with all the new lines people keep coming up with. I also like the middle ground the WS feature gives between a roll and skip disc as far as ground play. Always a hard decision to sacrifice one disc for another with limited bag space. Currently bagging 5 drivers and 5 fairway.
I'm 5/5 as well. I'm not convinced that WS has any different ground play. I throw it on the same lines I threw/throw my WB and don't notice a difference. Roll discs have a different "material" that causes the quick stop. Water Skip does not involve a material change as far as I've seen. Not confident enough to tell anyone they're wrong, but about 90% sure it's just confirmatuon bias.
@@Stever16 I haven't compared WB vs WS as far as groundplay. I don't bag any WB fairways or distance drivers for lack of bag space. If WB and WS discs have the same ground play, I will lean towards WS for the benefit of that attribute. Just personal preference of course. The time you put into anylyzing this stuff is interesting.
Nice round. I was expecting a bag full of Sampo's. 😁Grats on making Champion. Highest I got this season was 778. Maybe I'll see you in game next season. User name is Grimm. Just some constructive input, your picture in frame might be better in upper right instead of lower left blocking the players you are competing against.
I think I might address that in the next one. LOL
Big group of potheads that for some reason tee of at 7am on sunday 😂 Good folks for sure.
Looks fun! I miss living somewhere with a league
That first one looked like AR Keystone😂
supposed to be P2, flew like a bite lol
If you're turned off by the length skip to 19:23 that's where it gets good.
Hahaha bet they were thinkin about Sampo day 🤣
That was off the cuff, lol I felt kinda bad tho, i figured it was a drunk, but it was an old lady with diabetes who was hypoglycemic.
@@Stever16 ooh
Still working on mastering this method in all winds/elevations but when I get it right, it’s obviously the best way to putt imo. The illustrations at the beginning of the video are great as well. I forgot some of the nuances this morning so I’m going to keep rewatching until it’s ingrained.
I'm gonna post my throw-in from 125' on discord when the video is done, haha its so much higher and softer than what you were showing for your shot at what other people are doing. Funnily enough tho, on the downhill throws which I just got to, we're doing roughly the same thing.
Pretty interesting so far! I'm only 4:20 in, seemed like a good time to drop the first comment haha. I'm starting to see how your concept of the putt shape is going to make a lot of sense. I did want to say before I forgot tho - I think you might be somewhat incorrect about DGV players relying on throwing the discs well enough to have tons of putts more than being able to hit all putts. I think in DGV you actually DO want to count on hitting all your putts, to the extent that you aren't concerned with being 120' away from the basket. That in turn allows you to get in less trouble on your drives because you don't feel like you need to park the basket and can play a safer shot instead.
