So, coming from a G29, I am tempted to start building one of these... which of your desings would be better than the g29 in your experience? I'd rather do the simple one you posted before... Thanks!
I highly recommend you to try this model as it's more powerful and durable compared to my previous models

It took me about 3 months to plan and 2 weeks to build including filming
I dont understand how did you use a 12v 5a power supply they have overvoltage Protection and will shut Off when 775 Motor is connected right? Did you do and modification Hope you can clear my Doubt thank you.
No I didn't do any modifications, but you need 12v 10A Or 24v 5A smps for max motor output or you can use a car battery

using a regular drill with 3mm steel bit
Men its that possible to make it without 3d printed parts? I dont have 3 printer and if a gonna rent one in cost more than a logitech string wheel
you can try online 3d print services or you have to use your imagination to find alternative parts

I tightened the ball bearing with nut but the rod was tight it could not spin easily. what can I do to reduce tightness?

the idea is nice, but ugly AF. just a thin wet sandpaper and then spray paint:( instead of that wood why not print the wheel too? or use another wich can be sand down and spray painted. i think the case is too much thick. well finally works fine and that's the important part.

No you have to use a potentiometer with value from 10k to 100k
