The best tutorial on the subject I've found. Well done! Though is "loose rock" for gravel roads or very loose gravel? I can't imagine driving gravel roads long distances in Lo4. Ty!

Thank you. I was thinking the audio control knob on the system would be able to control the volume. So this control does not control the navigation volume at all, correct? Also the mute button on the NAV page does not work at times. Any suggestions? The manual says the button highlights when active but I don’t see any high lights! Can you please help me out here?

i now know that with all the buttons and knobs the is only one thing you can use in 4wheel high mode. All the rest are meant for 4wheel low.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. On the transfer case there are H2 H4 and L4....H4and L4 is shown clearly how to shift. How to shift it to H2? I put the gears on N on the transfer case at default when i am driving around the city. Is N and H2 the same ?

I learned to enjoy those grinding noises from my Toyota, it may sound bad but it'll make those noises for many years without ever causing an issue and I just look at it as the Toyota doing its thing, it might be annoying if it wasn't such a darn impressive machine.

Having used all these 4wd feathers on my 2016 Trail Edition 4runner it is still nice having this video as a refresher and reference to view in addition to having the manual. But a picture is worth a thousand words and this video is a keeper.

you didnt speak to standard traction control at all. am I right in thinking that on the new 23's you cant disable traction control over 30 mph?

i assume mud and sand setting is also for snow?

Hi we have 2019 TRD sports 4 Runner and my daughter used it and her friend helped her to switch it to H4 because the road is icy and my question is how can we switch it back to H2. Do we need to put it in neutral or just keep driving under 40 miles and switch it back to H2. My second question is my husband said when he try to put it back in H2 and I think he doesn’t know how then he just guessed and now he can’t move the gear or the handle to switch and he can’t drive it. Please let me know how to fix it. Thanks a lot
