I need to confess that i had a bad experience with small victories today when I tried to use wartercolor pencils. But after this video I think I will do another try using watercolor ink.

My copy of Magical Jungle is terrible for any water based mediums - and granulating watercolours require lots of water to see the effects! We must have different paper!

I like the color combination ❣ Did you prep you page for watercolors with gesso?

I love neon colors. Neon pastels, watercolors, pencils, gel pens! They are so good for making things glow or light up. Most people don't use them or overlook them but they are very special! Also in the prismacolor set electric blue,chartruse, spring green etc can also be read as neon colors although they are not truly flourescent. Also the deco and very light colors when layered over white pencil, charcoal or any white medium..and then surrounded by darker colors really gives a good contrast needed to make things glow. You can see i have a bit of obsession with making things glow. Lol. I LOVE the petersburg ochre i see you use and bought a pan and its absolutley lovely and precious to me. So thank you for introducing that to me. I would've never bought it on my own without seeing how gourgeous it is when you use it! Do you have any gray scale books and how do you feel about them? Some people love them some hate them. What are your thoughts on them? I love them but 90 percent of them have horrible paper quality. ❤ P.s. Your finished pages are wonderful.
