Sneaky Day Trip
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 16 พ.ค. 2023
This is a dedicated short film channel from places I visit, no talking through every single image or an audience with type vlogger., just watch the scenery and a brief voiceover for information.
A LIGHTHOUSE & BOAT WRECKS
A trip to the Wirral to Perch Rock lighthouse followed by stopping off at Shelldrakes where you will find many a boat wreck. A great day out where the drone gave us a different perspective & allowed us a closer look at the top of the lighthouse. Hope you enjoy this little outing with us & can join us on our next trip.

PEMMAENMAWR INCLINES
มุมมอง 365หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video, we start from Penmeanmawr and climb up the old inclines which you see when travelling along the A55 by the tunnels. Although steep & overgrown in places, the views, when clear, are superb. We started in a very warm bright day, however, Penmaenmawr has it's own micro climate and the clouds came rolling in as we got higher, so we decided we had seen enough on a very enjoyable walk....
FIRST VISIT TO SKOMER ISLAND TO SEE THE PUFFINS...41,000 OF THEM!
มุมมอง 292หลายเดือนก่อน
A great couple of days away with Luke & Adam to South Wales & Pembrokeshire to see the Puffins at Skomer Island. A ten to fifteen minute boat journey & we were there on Wales 2nd largest island behind Anglesey & the search began. With Adam & Luke having been before, they knew exactly where to head for to get the best shots with most Puffins congregating a certain area of the island. Hope you en...
TWO QUARRIES WALK
มุมมอง 1952 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video, we carry on from the Stwlan dam & walk through Rhosydd quarry and down through Cwmorthin quarry to complete the circuit we set out to do. Plenty of abandoned buildings with scattered remains of machinery dotted here & there along with a very nice couple of waterfalls to see. Hope you enjoy the video, thank you.
STWLAN DAM WALK
มุมมอง 1382 หลายเดือนก่อน
A walk up to Stwlan dam and beyond where we fly the drone to capture the beautiful surrounding landscape high up above Blaenau Ffestiniog. A reasonable steady climb from Cwmorthin gave some lovely views as we gained height. Hope you enjoy the video, thank you.
DUTTON LOCKS & ARCHIMEDES CORKSCREW
มุมมอง 2273 หลายเดือนก่อน
Seeing the Archimedes corkscrew working was a sight to see & also a little frightening. The power of the water urning several tonnes of machinery captured by drone to give an overall scale of the nature of the area. The picturesque Dutton locks just a short walk away in a pretty setting made for a great day out. Hope you enjoy the video, thank you.
ANDERTON BOAT LIFT- ONE OF ONLY TWO IN THE UK.
มุมมอง 3463 หลายเดือนก่อน
A great day out at the fascinating Anderton boat lift in Cheshire. This unique structure is one of only two in the uk, the other being in Falkirk. Situated on the River Weaver, it likes the canal to the river below. Hope you enjoy the short video, thank you.
ROWEN CHURCH, THE OLDEST & HIGHEST CHURCH IN WALES.
มุมมอง 5644 หลายเดือนก่อน
A steep climb up through woodland finally opened out where we suddenly revealed the oldest & highest church in Wales. We take a look inside where we discovered the Ten Commandments written in Welsh on the walls behind the altar. Hope you enjoy this short video & hope you can join us next time.
BLUEBELL WOODLAND WONDERLAND
มุมมอง 514 หลายเดือนก่อน
During the bluebell season, we went to Bangor to visit the quiet woodland which is a haven for bluebells & without doubt, the largest I have ever seen to date. I am not one for keeping locations secret normally, however, when it comes to bluebells & the damage irresponsible people can & do cause, this is one area, due to the 7 year cycle it takes to regenerate a bluebell, that I will not disclo...
WEPRE PARK & EWLOE CASTLE
มุมมอง 705 หลายเดือนก่อน
A trip not too far away in Flintshire proved a superb choice as the wild garlic throughout the woodland was immense, giving off a fresh aroma. The park has a great deal to offer from the isolation of Ewloe castle surrounded by trees, to the lovely waterfall in the tranquil setting. Hope you enjoy the video 👍
LIME KILNS AT MINERA LEAD MINE
มุมมอง 945 หลายเดือนก่อน
Nature is slowly starting to hide these large Lime kilns which have ivy etc covered over the most part. Situated at the far end of the lead mines, you can get inside to reveal the full extent & also walk the entire kiln. A great day out for sure.
RUTHIN GAOL
มุมมอง 3135 หลายเดือนก่อน
A fascinating visit to Ruthin jail museum seeing & learning all about life back in the day as an inmate. The jail is really well kept with information boards, plus an audio guide if you prefer to listen to the stories that transpired.
LAST DAY IN THE LAKES
มุมมอง 396 หลายเดือนก่อน
A cloudy day with the potential for a decent sunset saw us search out a decent view to hopefully finish the trip off with a bang. All in all, a decent day to finish our mini break away.
BUTTERMERE TO BLACK BECK TARN
มุมมอง 416 หลายเดือนก่อน
Walking from Buttermere, we followed the waterfalls up Warnscale towards the Bothy where we refuelled before heading up to the snow line at Black Beck Tarn which gave us some pretty spectacular views.
DERWENT WATER SUNRISE
มุมมอง 1247 หลายเดือนก่อน
A few days away in the lakes started with a superb sunrise at Derwent water giving us some beautiful pastel colours in the sky to contrast nicely with the snow capped mountains & ground frost.
Any advice on how to get there?

Cheers Richard 👍. Hope the music didn’t spoil your viewing 😂, mind you, anyone with any common sense would probably turn the volume down if it wasn’t to their personal taste lol.🤷♂️🤦♂️😂
Well that was pretty pointless, its a boatlift so why not show it working. Annoying music.
Thanks for watching, sending hugs 🤗

Cheers Richard, yes a warm day & a good walk.🙏👍
A lot of hidden history in Wales I bet. Great video.
Yes, we have many beautiful places still to discover. Thanks very much Steve🙏👍
Amazing, personally I think that the "patina" on this equipment is great. Mechanically restored it could be a "Rat Rod" railway. To me the nostalgia is lost if everything is restored to a like new condition. 👍
Yes true Shawn. Interesting thoughts and idea, thanks for watching🙏👍
Nice work
Thank you 👍

Heartless, people shouldn't go poking around with cameras, its hallowed ground, and there is something called karma so these people should be very careful also. 😟.
Thanks for watching 🤗👍
Wow!! Beautiful place. Thank you for sharing.
Many thanks 🙏, my pleasure 👍
Where is it? What was it? It interests me……
Hi Ian, it is situated in the woods between Rhydymwyn & Mold in North Wales. Some believe it was used for transportation of the mustard gas from the MOD depot at Rhydymwyn & the Factory in Mold, but not 100% sure to be honest.👍
Beautiful video Mark! Lovely trip!
Cheers Ellis. Yes it was a great few days away again.👌👍
Very beautiful video. 👏👏👍👍👍
Thank you very much 🙏👍
When k came to this vid there was 69 likes:)
Although it would be nice to get more appreciation for the videos, it doesn’t really bother me too much as it may do for others. It is a bit strange, for the want of a more appropriate phrase though that two videos have gone nuts compared to the usual average viewing figures for this small channel. Thank you for your interaction & comment, much appreciated 🙏👍

Hello🐎🐴🐎🦜🦜🦜🦒🦒🦒🦩🦩🦩🐧🐧🐧🐕🐶, 🐦 God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy and Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Jesus sincerely to be God's childJohn 1:12. "But as many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE on HIS name." That is great news! Will you sincerely receive Holy, Lord Jesus into your life today?
Been there several times in early 2000’s. Knew someone who lived in Talacre and we went there to explore. One time we saw a dark figure in what looked like the silhouette of a habit sitting on the seated area at the entrance.. We shit ourselves and ran over the adjacent fields, where there were cows on the hill. They saw us running and starting trotting down the hill after us. Always have thought about this place and those graves covered in the shrubs.
Yes it's a spooky place alright 👍
The brides of Christ not allowed in heaven and still stuck on this plane? Poor, poor souls after all their sacrifices and prayers!
Very nice indeed. Great light for you. 😜
Thanks Steve, yes, we were very lucky for a winter wonderland scenic views. 👍
