Wow 🤩 you have the most beautiful Hoya collection. I find Etsy the delivery costs can be alot even in Europe countries. But some people do get lucky with great sellers and great collection.

I remember when I realized how bad my grandfathers dementia when he didn’t recognize his daughter, my aunt. She saw him everyday and he didn’t know her. I went home and cried. That was his first death. Then when he died, couldn’t cry. I had already mourned him. I fully understand how you felt.

I call those ball gown blooms.

The Hoya multiflora looks like a shooting star. Its stunning. But all blooms are stunning

What other plants, genus, do you collect or is it mostly Hoyas.

I see other TH-camrs using leca in self watering pots all the time. One flushes all the time but another one does not. So I guess it’s preference

I ordered a tortum and what I got did not look like a tortum. I kept watering it and watering it never grew at all. So I finally pitched it. Was clearly not a tortum. If it had grown I probably would have kept it

I use a “spork” to mix the bonide into the soil. Works great

Fav Hoya blooms from my own Hoyas - Hoya Fitchii (so much prettier than on pictures and a mild pleasant scent) - Hoya Elliptica - Hoya Caudata (Sumatra) - Hoya Waymaniae (bought as splash but looks more like cloudy sky) Also appreciate Carnosa Krimson Princess (cacao scent), Hoya Krohniana super silver and Hoya Rebecca a lot for their scents

What spray do you use on your hoya for pests?? I’ve been trying to find which video I saw you mention it in and can’t seem to find it but I want to give it a try 😅

Loved this video. So informative. Can’t wait for the Hoya propagation video, getting my props to take is my biggest struggle. I can get them to root but soon as I move them to a chunky mix they die. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong 😢

I'm on a plant ban, after receiving two new hoyas this week 🤫 I really try hard not to get caught in the consumerism of this hobby. I have some props going, two baby hoyas, some baby succulents outside... So its time to focus on getting the baby plants going really well before adding any more. And i have a peperomia thats about to get thrown over the fence.

Just water your plants with Great White I do that for repots.

I have fallen out of love with philodendron except one the Patriciae. My main love is Anthurium currently LOL! 😆 I never thought I would buy Hoya and I have also love them. So, funny how we change. I’ll take your Anthurium off your hands!!!! 😉

I’ve been using this since I started buying plants; and so far, <knock on wood> no pests.

Fall is the best season ever! Sweaters and colored leaves! Love it. I also hate heat! Summer is my least favorite season! I hate that 85+ temps. We had over 30 days of 90 and 10 days of 100+😶

Omgosh love the long video 👏 I hear ya! SoCal is on fire right now and I’m so over it!! I think we’re suppose to be 108 tomorrow and I literally want to cry!!!! I’m here for all the fall content! My fall decor is up and my AC is cranked all the way down..clearly I’m in denial 😂😭

I am so happy you went to systemic. I sprinkle that magic fairy dust onto all of my plants (into the soil that is) twice a year (spring and fall) and so far have been very lucky with not getting pests. But I am prepared if I eventually will get pests cause I’m not completely delusional. When used responsible there is absolutely nothing wrong with a systemic. Good luck with beneficials, castille soap and neem thinking that it will eradicate anything.

I also like using bonide systemic along with a spray that takes care of spider mites. I don't know if I ever had root mealies, but on occasion, I use Pure Crop 1. I try not to overthink it all. I randomly spray with alcohol, Dr. Bronners and water. This weekend I will go through and treat all the plants, one of my fall chores. Then, I will start cleaning and treating the outside plants, bringing them in, and isolating them in my basement. Why do I have so many plants?! 😂

I meant mealies and not root mealies, I am constantly thinking about root mealies right now😆. I have root mealies and I am struggling to get rid of them since we can’t get purecrop1 so I subconsciously typed root mealies😅😅 That’s a good point, instead of getting the ones we lost, we take care of the ones we have recently acquired- I need to adopt that mindset!
