Thank you for watching. We’re actually selling ours. Great camper but we sold our sport bikes and our cruisers don’t fit in it. So we’re switching to a roof top tent for us and flat bed trailer for the bikes.

The ones I have do get in the way. I just put a carabiner at the top and roll the screen up. I’ve only been able to bring my motorcycles on 2 trips.

Yeah, I’d say we were lucky to find it buuuut, we found out why it was available. lol. Oh there is no insulation. The tip out is canvas so it gets cold. I’ve bought some reflectex to put on the inside and it works decent.

The truck came stock with it installed.

I have the travel one that has a battery. I can use it via my jackery or bluetti but I mainly just charge it during the day and run it off it’s one battery at night.

Not at all. I’m 5’9”. I do have to tilt my head but it doesn’t bother me for the 10 minutes I’m setting them up, mainly because most of that time is spent bent over tying them down anyways.

Lol. Thanks for watching! Yeah we still have it, although our schedules kept us from exploring much this year. I’ve changed a few things but overall it’s a great trailer. Check out the Facebook page. There are a lot of owners who show off their mods and get ideas from others.

Although we love the trailer, I will say, our MAIN reason for going this route is because we take our pups everywhere, this trailer has AC and Heat so we can leave them in there for a few hour while we explore. IF not for them, we would've saved some money by getting a regular utility trailer and DIYing what we needed on it.

Lol. We love it. Our main reason was because of what it’s capable of, but also because it has the A/C-Heater because we travel with dogs. If you can get away without needing the AC, I would look into a basic utility trailer that you can modify to your needs. Mainly because prices are so inflated right now. But if money isn’t an issue, go for it!

Yes we are. Was gone for most of 2022 so we didn’t use it. But we’ve gone out once already this year and going out again next week. The dogs love it because they can hang out inside if it’s too hot outside. If you plan to travel, park at a campground, but also go out and explore without the dogs, then it’s worth it. We ride motorcycles so that was our main focus on getting the explore. We can leave the dogs with AC or heat, and go out riding for a few hours.

We drove to a dealer in Apex, NC in Jan 2020. Paid 17k. We live in Virginia and they were $2k less than the dealers close to us. Most were going for around $18-19k when we were looking. Worth it? Yes. Haven’t used it nearly as much due to, initially the pandemic shutdown, then I schedule got hectic. Be it boondocking or campground, we love it. You do have to do some modifications if you want some comforts like on board water, hot water, toilet, sink etc. I’ve only added a water tank and a diy sink.

Just adjust the shelf inside to lift up,then you can have access to the fridge

The explore is shorter and fits OUR needs. I feel if I really wanted the discover I would just make the leap and buy a toy hauler type camper. About the same price if not cheaper and still fit the bike. The outside kitchen is nice although I’m getting rid of it and marking that whole cabinet storage with dedicated cutting board on top. I like the flat top of my black stone better. Good luck on whichever route you take. Both have their pros and cons. Have you joined the Intech FB page? In the same boat for my 1190ADVR & Husky 701. I looked at other sub 22 ft. toy haulers (forest river, Coachman, etc) but honestly, while they have more nice to haves, the build quality is really inferior to intech. The explore is only 5'5" inside (I'm 6'4"). The discover is so high you can't do a 270 awning w/ walls on the roof rack, which I want so I can put a shower and my bikes in the awning. If I can find one, def. going with the discover.

I wouldn’t say “nothing”. I’ve had their floor jack for 7 years now, A heat gun for about 2, and multiple drill bits/wrenches for about 3 yrs. I’m thinking I’ll buy their Predator Generator next.

@@GTZ_TV It's all good. Was being a smart a#$. I'm actually going to buy that water pump set up. You have some good ideas I can incorporate into mine My 2022 will be here in September. I wish I paid $17.000 but mine cost 25 grand. I searched all over the north west and all dealers are asking $24999.00 including here in boise. Actually all my wrenches are from harbor freight and Lowes. So ya I'm with you brotha.

@@DavidRamirez-fe5dd 25k ?!? Ouch. I had to drive 8hrs into North Carolina from Va in order to get that 17k price. But this was also before the pandemic and supply/demand issues. Yeah I saw the water set up in the Intech Facebook page last year and was easy enough for me to do. I’m actually going to remove the stove and put in a sink in the near future. Another guy did it and the hardest part is finding a sink that’s a good fit. I’m switching to using my black stone adventure griddle with side burner, so I won’t need the stove stop anymore. And having an installed sink would make it more convenient that filling a tub every time we want to do dishes or wash our hands.

Yes. Very cold. It got down to 14 degrees. Some people use buddy heaters, others have switched to proplex, I recently got a diesel heater which blows hot dry air.

The Harley and dirt bikes should fit. Tightly but maybe doable. Definitely not 2 touring bikes unless you can figure out a way to tie both down. Check out the Intech FB page for better examples. A couple of owners have posted a few pics.

I paid 17k out the door brand new, STOCK everything. I did have to travel a few hours away from the east coast to get the better offer though. You might have a hard time getting a gently used on that low as sellers know the market is still hot. But I’d definitely try. Also look at the Intech For sale Facebook page.

Yes. The trailer came with brakes and my truck came with the brake controller.

lol. I knew it was going to get cold, but not that cold. And definitely wasn’t expecting the amount of snow that fell that night. Had to leave sooner than we planned cause I had stock tires on the truck and didn’t want to get stuck. Better prepared for this coming winter though!

It’s more of an Avocado Creme. Avocados, Greek yogurt, jalapeños, salt, garlic, lime, cilantro. It’s really good and I’m guessing the Greek yogurt and lime both help it last longer by at least 3 days. Obviously flavors may change a little over time but it won’t turn brown right away. We usually make enough for 2 days. Where guac you can chop all your ingredients, with this, a blender or food processor works best.

@dadtube there are 6 tie downs and I just used those. Tested it once and no issues. This May is a longer trip so it’ll test it better. I don’t always take the bikes so I don’t want to invest in 2 chocks right now. But if you travel frequently with them, I’d install some chocks just for the ease of it.

I only used the buddy heater until we went to bed. Didn't leave it on overnight because we didn't want to chance a fire. Especially with the dogs crawling around. We do leave the Max Fan vent open semi-open while we use the heater. And yes, it will cause condensation. We have our mattress wrapped in a protective cover to help some but others have put down a mat under the mattress to help. I have a 20lb and it lasts forever!

@@GTZ_TV had a follow up question. How does the tip deal with rain and snow? Any water intrusion or sagging?

@@ZeLogicnator5k the internal frame of the tip-out is super sturdy, so you won’t get any sag. In this video my DIY awning over the tip-out failed and we ended up with snow on the top-out. No issues there. So far we haven’t had any leaks but it is important to ensure the “skirt” around the bottom edge is down over the hard shell.

The dogs are likely contributors to the ticks, we have to brush our daschund carefully when we take him on camping trips specifically for this reason. He’s a tick magnet. Permethrin is a solid recommendation 👍. We also blouse our pants when we walk in the woods, which helps some as well.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes the fridge is 120v and 12v. Switches on its own depending on if you’re on shore power or not. The heat/ac unit is loud. The heat is great, though I have installed a thermostat so it’s just on or off. However, we’ve Boondocked more than campground so adding Reflectex on the inside of the tip outs is a great idea for the winter. I also use a diesel heater for heat. Updated video coming next month.
